RecommendationsWe are New England natives who deeply adore our corner of the country–so we can’t wait to share our favorite recommendations with you.You could head north to hike, ski, and explore the Green Mountains of Vermont or the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Perhaps you will tour local breweries, try fresh seafood in a cute coastal town, or cook your own meal under a starry night sky. A trip west to the Berkshires of Massachusetts will bring beautiful hiking trails, lakes, culture, and art. And a drive up the coast of Maine will take you through the town of Portland with its cobblestone streets and scenic waterfront views, on your way to the stunning Acadia National Park. This van was made for adventure, so exploring New England with Casita is the ideal way to have the vacation of a lifetime.
Other things to note- Casita has two-wheel drive and low clearance and so the vehicle should never be driven on off-roads, closed roads, or restricted roads.- Do not climb on top of the roof; stepping on the roof will cause cracks/leaks in the ceilings, and walking on the solar panels will break them :(- There is a strict no smoking or vaping policy. Don't lose your security deposit!- Please do not leave the interior space cold for long in winter, as the battery can only be charged above freezing point. The water system also needs to stay above the freezing point as well; a short period of time is not a problem, but it’s best to keep the interior above freezing point in general.- IMPORTANT: Casita has a HIGH ROOF and so cannot make it underneath anything less than 9’. This means no drive thrus or small bridges. Please please please be aware of this and cautious as you drive our tiny home to your amazing adventures.- Oil Change: If you drive the van further than 5,000 miles, we ask that you have the van’s oil changed, or else you will forfeit the security deposit. Engine health is serious business! We are happy to discuss this further and help with these logistics if you plan on a long-distance adventure. :)When returning the van:
1. Please make sure the gas is filled to the same level as when it was picked up, (a $7.00 per gallon fee will be charged to fill up the tank).2. Please empty the toilet, both solid and liquid waste (a $100 fee will be charged if the toilet is not returned empty).

We love this van so much we’ve rented it three times! Our most recent trip took us from Maine to Utah and back. Driving this van was a delight. As others have said in their reviews, it has all the amenities you will need whether you are at a campground, overnight parking spot, or at a primitive camp location in the wild.
The lighting is great and there’s plenty of places to charge your devices. There’s a lot of counter space for cooking and eating. Having a full mattress is so comfortable, and when facilities are not available (or not the best), having the shower/toilet is nice. I liked the shower in the van simply for the privacy.
Casita means ‘Little House’ and it's the perfect name for this van. It really was our little home away from home.

We had an incredible trip in Mike and Kelly's campervan! We traveled to Acadia and the White Mountains. The van is super easy to drive. It was great to have everything we needed in the van, and everything worked as expected. Mike gave us all the instructions needed so we managed just fine as first-time campervan travelers. He was also very flexible with our travel schedule, so the pickup and drop-off was very easy. We would definitely rent this one again.

Very nice experience in Mike and Kelly’s van. We did a 2 week road trip in New England.
The van is well thought through, with a lot of convenient features, to optimize space and make life more comfortable in and around the vehicle. Lots of small compartments to store things. The van has a small easy-to-read dashboard inside to monitor use of utilities. We liked that we could cook and the fridge was big enough to store food for the week. We used the shower and toilets inside the van a few times, but generally preferred to go to the facilities in campgrounds.
The car is very easy to drive, despite being 20 feet long.
The pick up and return went very smoothly, Mike was great at explaining how everything works and there is a handy user manual in the van too.
Would definitely recommend an experience like this!

We had an amazing time in mike’s camper! We took it from Boston to Bar Harbour with no issues, and it was really easy to camp along the way even with limited full hook-up spots available. Lots of cozy, personalized touches that made it feel like home after a long day exploring. Would definitely rent again!

Overall everything went smoothly and the van is super nice. Mike and Kelly made sure everything was clear and in order before and during our trip. Pick up and drop off was easy. We had a great time with Casita and look forward to more adventures like this!
