We loved renting this trailer from Makary! It was clean and in great shape, stocked with all the cooking essentials. Makary was great at communicating with us about various questions along our trip. All and all a very positive experience from start to finish. Can’t wait to rent this trailer again!!
Have a question?Get answers directly from the host
Q.How long do the batteries last at a camp without electric hookup?
A.
Our camper has 2 newer batteries that stay energized for a week or more, and can last several weeks depending on useage. Battery power supports the interior and exterior lights, awning, water pump, furnace blower, USB 12v outlet, stereo and oven fan.
Q.Is a generator included? Or an option?
A.
Unfortunately no, we do not have a generator, and we do not have one to offer as an option at this time. Maybe we will add in the future! If you have your own generator to bring, you would be able to run the AC and microwave without needing a camp spot with electrical hookups.
Q.Can I run the AC on battery power?
A.
The air conditioning unit, electric refrigerator, and microwave require the trailer to be plugged in for use, they do not run on battery power alone (which is typical for all camp trailers and AC).
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are very flexible on pickup and dropoff times! We understand there are a lot of planning logistics on a trip and we want to help make your trip as easy as possible. Pickup times starting at 6am and late drop off after the listed time is no problem, typically. We just ask that you communicate if you want an earlier pickup time and if you think you may be later on drop off, please let us know before you are out of town and out of service.
