Review summary
Mixed support and communication
Some renters received thorough orientations and prompt communication. Others reported unexpected linen fees, critical amenities (generator, leveling jacks) non-functional without notice, and unsupportive, blaming owner responses to reported issues.
Significant functional issues
Numerous critical systems were non-functional or unreliable, including the generator, leveling jacks, microwave, electrical plugs, tank indicators, and stovetop. Guests also reported persistent speaker beeping and receiving the RV with only half a tank of fuel.

3.0The black tank was not emptied. Causing it to smell extremely bad in the rv until I found a spot to dump it.

1.0We had several issues with the RV that negatively affected our trip. First, the listing stated that linens were included, but none were provided. When I raised this at pickup, I was told that “linens included” only referred to towels and that sheets, pillows, and duvets cost extra. I paid the additional fee rather than argue, but this could have caused a major problem if we had not noticed before leaving. The listing's "Linens included" line displays beside a little pillow icon. During the trip, the RV’s speakers began making loud, irregular, high-pitched beeps every few minutes. I could not identify the cause or stop them without turning off the RV’s main power, which also shut off the air conditioning. The dashboard audio system later began beeping intermittently as well, with no way to disable it. The stovetop was also unreliable. Sometimes it worked normally, but at other times the gas flow gradually weakened and stopped, leaving us unable to cook. The RV was provided with only about half a tank of fuel, which I was not informed about and noticed about 5 minutes after departure. If I hadn't noticed until later wouldn't have know what level to refuel to. Finally, the grey and black water tank indicators did not work. They showed the tanks as half to three-quarters full even after I had emptied them, so there was no reliable way to monitor the levels. On the positive side, the owner was accommodating before the trip and was able to adjust our dates at short notice.

5.0Our 2nd rental experience with RVan was just as great as the first. The vehicle suited our needs perfectly. Hiccups (there are always hiccups with an RV) were extremely minor and didn't impact our enjoyment one bit. Communication was good, service was good and we will definitely rent from RVan again.

2.0The RV was not prepared when we arrived. There were broken parts. We were not told that the back window was not to be opened. When we opened it during the tour and couldn't shut it, the employee helped us shut it and told us you just have to muscle it a little to close it but never said we shouldn't open it. then it shattered when we opened it the first night of our trip and the owner gave us no support.
