The Pea Pod is best thought of as a fancy hard-shelled tent on wheels to whisk away on your outdoor explorations. Perfect for when you don’t want a huge camper, but don’t feel like sleeping on the ground & would like some creature comforts to come back to at your base camp after a day’s adventures. Make coffee inside & enjoy a rainy day through the classic round windows, control the climate with heat/AC or enjoy the breeze with the versatile windows & vent fan.
Lightweight (1660lbs empty, Gvwr 1939lbs, ~175 tongue weight) teardrop camper, easily towed with 2" ball hitch & 7-pin connector, & at 16' length tongue to bumper, it works well at some of the smaller sites at the state, national, & county park campgrounds that get you up close with nature & trailheads, lakes, etc.
Inside, the Pea Pod has a U-shaped dinette that makes into a queen bed to sleep 2 comfortably. A 3" memory foam topper encased in mattress pad & duvet cover is included & folds out easily to make into a comfy queen bed that rolls back up to a huge pillow bolster for the back of the dinette in the day. Inside is a basic kitchenette with refrigerator, 2 burner stove, limited cold water sink. Interior height is 5’9”. 2 heaters, AC, 2-way vent fan to pull air out or bring air into the camper. No bathroom, but porta potty is available.
Plan to pack light & keep some supplies in your vehicle (the 3 overhead cabinets at the back are left empty for your personal necessities). Epitomize glamping on the road with this looker!

RecommendationsTwo Rivers NE State Park (a spot in Cottonwood Campground along the Platte River is my favorite there) & Hitchcock Nature Center in Honey Creek, IA are lovely nearby local campgrounds for a few days of relaxing. Or take the Pea Pod on the road and head out to the Black Hills in South Dakota or venture into the Colorado mountains or high plains. This teardrop goes where its towed :) Just no off-roading please. We camp and travel on our motorcycles frequently, so feel free to reach out for recommendations if you have a region or terrain you're looking to see or how to find campgrounds. Other things to note-2 people max.
-NO SMOKING
-nightly rate varies, check your dates for specific rates
-the porta potty is small and best used for #1 only. Great for the middle of the night pee! Plan on staying where there is a toilet of some sort (pit or regular). You must dump and rinse it before returning camper (same for the 15gallon external gray tank from sink water)
-NO shower in the camper
-if you would like to bring a dog, please let me know beforehand & we can discuss logistics. Never leave your pet in camper unattended.

First of all, working with Amanda during all of the rental was amazing. She communicates very well and is on top of things. The camper itself was just what we wanted. It was clean, easy to tow and allowed us a restful and cool place to end the day in. We prepped our meals at the dining table and also hung out there before bed. The mattress is comfy and we lived her setup with the duvet cover sewn around the memory foam mattress. We were able to drop the dining table and make the bed in about 3 minutes. Pretty good. The fridge was super nice to have inside and the sink was handy. The camper has great windows that open and have pull down screens. Anyone looking for a nice upgrade from tent camping should try the Pea Pod out. It making camping way more comfortable. Thanks Amanda!!

The Pea Pod was a wonderful camper for my "girls" get-a-way! We had rain the first morning, so it was WONDERFUL to have a stove inside and to make coffee and stay dry. The bed was comfortable and easy to pop up into a table for coffee in the morning. Amanda was so easy to work with and very responsive. When I picked up the camper she was thorough and helped me understand her camper well. When returning it, she was available and responsive as I returned it a few hours early.

Amanda was amazing, she goes above and beyond to make sure that you have everything you need for you trip. Amanda was just as invested in me having a fun trip as I was, this made for a much better experience. I cannot say enough good things about her and the experience she provided for us. As for the camper. What an amazing camper it is. My wife and I love tent camping and we are starting to get to the point that we feel we need a small camper. This little powerhouse of a camper was exactly what we need for out week long trip. We felt we were still tent camping with the safe stronghold of a camper.
