5.0We just had most amazing week in Sally road tripping around WA/OR and I can’t recommend her enough! Perfect for our family of 5, and it truly felt like home! Leslie has included so many things to make your trip easy and comfortable (flashlights, camp chairs, blankets, even coffee and spices for cooking!). She was immediate to respond when we had a minor issue and helped us resolve it, and her flexibility with drop off and pick up was greatly appreciated! Plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 kids, and we loved waking up surrounded by nature. Sally was easy to drive, the solar panels allowed us to have power anywhere we went, and everything was easy to figure out for us first-timers. We would absolutely rent Sally again for our next PNW road trip! Just do yourself a favor and book her for your next family vacation 😊 you won’t regret it!

5.0Our group of four flew from Minnesota and spent 13 days traveling in Sally the Solis. We saw four national parks and the Oregon coast. Sally was a very comfortable way to ride and live. We tried to get up early most mornings, and the ease of packing up made it very easy to get on the road. It was fun to chat with Leslie before and after the trip. All around, a great experience!

5.0Is it possible to set the bar too high? Sally (and her owner Leslie) were AMAZING. Starting with Leslie, she provided such an accurate description, great walkthrough when we pick it up, and perfect guide and checklist for while we rented. She was super responsive to messages leading up to renting and during our rental. Now on to Sally, we traveled for 11 nights through the Columbia River George, Olympic National Forest, and down the Oregon coast with 3 kids (9,6,4) and the camper van was everything we had hoped for. It was clean, well maintained, and everything worked great. More than anything else…it was set up amazingly. From the rack with hand soap, dish soap and sanitizer dispensers, an absolutely spot on kitchen setup with everything you could need and use to all the hand towels, towels, and bedding you need. Her layout and all the little extras was just the icing on the cake for our trip. There wasn’t clutter and all the amenities that make road tripping better were so well thought out. 11/10 would rent again

5.0Sally was the perfect van for our trip! We took her up to the Hood Canal, around the Olympic Peninsula, and down the Washington and Oregon Coast. The van is comfortable and well appointed and was sufficient for our family of 5. It takes a day or two to get into a routine with setting up and taking down, but once you’ve got it down, it’s a breeze. Pickup and drop off were seamless and Leslie is very thorough in showing you the systems and amenities. We hope to rent again in the not so distant future!

5.0Sally the solace, was more than comfortable and well stocked. Leslie was so easy to work with, and her flexibility was deeply appreciated. The small details that she put into the camper van like the coffee, kitchen pots/ utensils, towels, and warm blankets for our chilly days.

Frequently asked questions
Q.
Do I need campground hookups?
A.
Nope! Thanks to solar panels and - new for 2026 - lithium batteries, you can camp comfortably off-grid. Hookups are only needed if you require full 110V household power.
Q.
How many people can sleep in the van?
A.
Up to 5: two on the lower bed, two in the pop top, plus one small adult or child on the inflatable cab mattress. If you are a group of six or want extra space, I have a small two person tent I’m happy to throw in.
Q.
Is the van easy to drive?
A.
Yes – if you’re comfortable driving an SUV or a truck, you’ll feel right at home. It fits in standard parking spaces.
Q.
What’s included? What do I need to bring?
A.
Everything you need is included: cookware, dishes, utensils, coffee, supplies, linens, pillows, towel, towels, camp chairs, games, headlamps, first aid kit, and more. You only need to bring your clothes! Bring car seats for your littles as needed. I recommend soft sided bags or packing cubes to make the most of the space.
