2010 Winnebago View
Unique floorplan offers Double Beds in the Living and Loft areas, plus two single 7-foot-long rear berths, totaling four berths that sleep six total, or four total each in separate beds. The Winnebago View 24P is the only under-25-foot camper that sleeps four adults in four separate beds. It parks in a standard twenty-foot parking space when backed in, so long as there is a five-foot grass or paved area behind the space--there's no other six-person sleeping coach that can do this.Unlimited Miles and Unlimited Generator Hours!A living room slide-out room increases the space. The driver and passenger chairs spin around to form a conversation pit for five while your sixth runs the galley! Privacy curtains separate every sleeping area--the loft bed, living room bed, and back bunks each have privacy curtains. This is the ultimate ladies' trip coach.Excellent fuel economy of between 13.5 (heavy foot) to 16 mpg (55 mph)!! Millie's diesel generator means you will never be without a microwave or air conditioning, while propane plus battery runs the water heater, furnace, and lights. Heated tanks allow you to camp in Millie during the winter, so long as you follow the steps.I will teach you how to use the RV. I am a lifelong, passionate RVer. Camping World is two miles from my house, so if you want hands-on training on how to dump the RV's tanks, we can do that during your checkout systems orientation. You can call me for help from the road--we want you to have the best possible experience.I've owned four RVs, but I've also rented a dozen times, so I am in tune with your concerns and will help you have the best time of your life.If you can follow checklists, you can use all the systems in this camper without fail. This camper sells new for $215,000!!!!!What's includedCookware, a campfire torch, a grill, marshmallow forks, a camp table, and lawn chairs.RecommendationsA few of our favorite campgrounds, where Millie is no stranger, are listed from near to far:Thomas Ridge in Marengo, Illinois, is our favorite nearby campground. It has miles of trails and very private sites. Within five miles of this campground are the world's largest Train Museum, the McHenry County Historical Museum, McHenry County's oldest tavern, and a couple of dynamite restaurants. This is a great weekend trip to build your confidence operating an RV.Dodge County Ledge Park in Horicon, WI. Only 100 miles from here. HUGE private campsites and fantastic rock formations and trails without the crowds. County Parks are camping's best-kept secrets--It's a fallacy that it isn't cool if it isn't a State or National Park.White Pines Forest State Park in Mount Morris, Illinois, is America's southernmost old-growth white pine forest. Only 100 miles west of Chicago. The historic CCC Works Dining Hall Restaurant hosts plays and music all summer, cabins are available for your non-RVing party, and it's an uber-hip place to slip into yesterday. My grandparents' honeymoon was spent at White Pines State Park.Eagle Cave http://www.eaglecave.net/ In Wisconsin's Driftless Zone and the perfect launching spot to see Taliesin, Frank Llyod Wright's summer home, House on the Rock, and Pier County Park (aka "Rockbridge") in Richland Center, which contains possibly the most astonishing rock formation located in any County Park in America. You can boondock for free at Rockbridge!!The Shawnee National Forest Campground in Southern Illinois is another favorite. Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, Dixon Springs, River to River Trail, Rim Rock National Recreation Trail, and Jackson Falls are all unforgettable day trip wonders within reach of SNF Campground.I could go on and on. Kankakee State Park, the Rock River Route 2 Trip with Lowden and Castle Rock state parks--ninety minutes from here! Tell me how far you want to drive, and I will show you places (between 25 to a few thousand miles away from here) that will amaze you and warm your heart forever.Other things to noteRules. 1) Slow down. 2) Relax. 3) Breath. 4) Everything Will Be Fun. 5) Life is better in an RV.

Q.How hard is it to drive?
A.
It's like driving a long car, there's only one trick to it, and I will teach you that trick. There is a backup camera with a microphone and speaker so you can hear and speak to someone guiding you--no screaming or histrionics. The person behind the coach speaks to you in a normal voice, and you hear them plain as day over the stereo system. No heartaches, accidents, or arguments.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We agree on that ahead of time, and you are expected to honor your pick-up and return times because I run a busy calendar to which I am faithful.
Q.What if something breaks?
A.
Stuff happens. If something small breaks, don't sweat it--tell me about it when you return. If it's something big, again, don't sweat it. That's what the insurance is for. The slower-paced life of RVing means you are unlikely to experience any hardships, breakage, or difficulties, but if you do, we will handle it professionally with empathy.
Q.Do I have to dump the tanks or clean the coach before returning it?
A.
No, you don't have to dump the tanks before returning. Please return it in good order--we wash and sterilize it before the next rental, but you must return it broom clean. This means the interior has been swept clean and all floors, counters, sinks, the shower, and other surfaces are free of mud, grease, food, or biological matter. A dust broom, pan, Simple Green, and paper towels are provided.
