Sleek RV that drives like an SUV. Perfect for couples traveling with a young child or dogs, and very good on gas mileage. Daily rate includes unlimited miles/day and length of stay discounts are automatically applied. Plug in your dates of travel to see them. She's been very busy as a preferred rental and comes with a few disclaimers that require explanation but for the most part a lot of fun and easy to use. For example, the cabinet latches are sensitive and the awning requires a little finagle to get it set up properly. The bench seat that turns into a bed has to be manually adjusted instead of pressing a button. The retractable step for side door has been replaced with a portable step stool. The refrigerator works perfectly, but the freezer will not make ice. For light camping, it's perfect but for those more fastidious, everything must be perfect campers, it might not be the best fit.Previous renters had some unfortunate issues because they relied on dry camping with the generator. The circuit breaker tripped and we did not troubleshoot the issue enough. Things like that happen and we will work through everything as they come up. Dry camping is not recommended in this vehicle because you cannot rely on the small, emergency generator in this RV. If the batteries are low or the inverter is left on, it might not start. It is perfect for two adults but three is ok too if the third is a toddler or another adult who doesn't mind a sleeping mat on the floor, or can use the inflatable bed that goes across the front seats. She's a blast to drive with a fuel-efficient diesel engine that gets almost 20 mpg on the open road with great views of scenery while driving. Please read all the reviews and check out Big Bertha's Sister Betty. What's includedBring your own sleeping gear. The bed is closest to a queen size for your sheets or sleeping bags. Please also bring your own toiletries and cleaning supplies - we typically discard everything between rentals. We include cookware, utensils, coffee maker, plates and silverware or you can bring your own and take with you or discard at the end. There are two folding camp chairs and a broom. This is not the Ritz Carlton :) RecommendationsPublic parks across the nation are great places to stay. Hook up to any RV campsite and you've got a 1 Br Condo on wheels. Other things to noteWe expect that each renter dumps and clean sweeps before returning by the honor system. We like easy going renters who respect our RVs, and we provide free parking while on your trip and tolls are included.

We are dog-friendly, laid back RV campers that just happened upon three similar Roadtrek SS Agile RVs based on our original Big Bertha. We wanted one as a backup and then Covid occurred and we decided on a third. This is not our main business. The more willingness to go with the flow and address things as they come up with troubleshooting, the better. We have a great Sprinter mechanic and we can fix just about everything or have a viable workaround for the RV functions. For example, the awning legs for these are no longer made so we have aftermarket legs that seem to work fine but have to be attached manually.

Bertha is a decent rig. She's seen some days and is a little bit rough around the edges, but there's nothing wrong with that. She held up nicely to a three day weekend for me, my wife and our little dog. We had a lovely time!

Great trip to Boston area. Visiting friends and family. Big Bertha drove nicely. Comfortable seats. Basics food prep and cleaning nicely supplied. At the end of campground season but snagged a spot at Normandy farms. Great campground.

We took Bertha to the west coast for almost three weeks. She was a trooper and held up on all mountain roads. She was cozy and comfortable and we enjoyed spending time in the van. Some of the hiccups were related to the battery not charging properly so we had issues with dumping at times as well as not having ceiling lights even when hooked up.
Pics are from Prairie Creek, Crater Lake, Death Valley and Zion campgrounds. In Zion we were visited by the resident kitty.

Meghan’s answer
Unfortunately the maintenance that is required for Bertha is taking longer than expected, therefore she would not be available for this adventure :(

Rented Bertha for a two week road trip out west. She drives very comfortably and efficiently. Exterior is well-seasoned and interior was very comfortable and clean. A few minor issues popped up as they do but Megan was very responsive and helpful in dealing with any inconveniences. Definitely would rent again!

Not a great experience due to an issue with the van. Megan was awesome. Responded immediately and tried to mitigate the situation. We made it through most of our trip and she still refunded 50% of the fees due to the issues we had. It is an older van which is why they charge less. Just unfortunate that it took this time for the issue to present itself.
