1. Tow it yourself: bring a properly rated tow vehicle and hitch (see the towing requirements in Other Things to Note).
2. Tesla Cybertruck + trailer package: rent our Cybertruck to tow Susie for a one-of-a-kind electric-truck camping trip. The Cybertruck has built-in power outlets, including a 240-volt outlet in the bed, that can help power your campsite as a quieter alternative to a generator. Ask us about the adapter needed to connect the trailer.
3. Ford F-350 + trailer: rent our 2024 F-350 Super Duty 1-ton truck as a heavy-duty tow vehicle (bring your own ball mount; a conventional hitch is not included).
4. Delivered to your home: family coming to town? We can deliver Susie right to your home in Bakersfield or elsewhere in Kern County, giving your guests their own comfortable sleeping space and an additional bathroom with a shower, without overcrowding your house. Perfect for holidays, visiting relatives, family gatherings, weddings, and events. Delivery fees apply; ask us about your location. What's includedBasic cooking utensils, basic pots and pans, place settings, toilet paper, and disposable gloves are included. Bring your favorite towels, pillows, and blankets and lets go camping!RecommendationsBased in Bakersfield, you’re within an easy drive of some of California’s best camping. Head up the Kern River Canyon to Lake Isabella for fishing, rafting and lakeside campsites, or drive up to Sequoia National Park to stand beneath the giant sequoias. Pismo Beach and the Central Coast are a little over two hours west, and Big Sur is perfect if you want to disconnect from tech. Wherever you go, enjoy the great outdoors and time with the ones you cherish!Other things to notePlease schedule your pick up and drop off times in advance. Pick up and drop off is between 8 AM and 3 PM; extended drop off between 3 PM and 5 PM is available for an hourly fee. After 5 PM, the trailer will need to be returned the following day and an additional rental night will apply.Prior experience towing and hooking up a trailer is required, as we are not able to assist or advise you during the connection of the trailer to your vehicle for liability reasons. Please provide your own hitch and tow brake, or ask about our Bluetooth tow brake. No hitch or special wiring adapter will be provided.Towable trailers must never exceed 55 MPH, regardless of posted speed limits. Driving too fast is dangerous and can cause tire failure. In the unlikely event of a breakdown or repair, all repairs must be approved by the owner. Leaving the trailer behind or getting unapproved repairs will not be covered, and the renter will be responsible for recovery. No smoking inside the trailer; a smoking fee applies. Pets are welcome — please add the pet fee to your reservation before pick up.
