Our camper sleeps two adults comfortably but fits an added fur baby and small child as long as you don't mind sharing your bed!Step inside to discover a cozy living space that provides all the comforts of home on the road. From a comfortable sleeping area to a compact kitchenette, this trailer is designed for convenience and relaxation. The sofa pulls out to a full-size bed. It includes a 6” foam mattress and 2” memory foam topper making the bed as comfortable as your mattress at home. The dining table folds down into a twin sized bed which has a 4” latex mattress.The kitchen includes a sink, 4 burner range, oven, refrigerator, freezer and coffee maker. It is stocked with eating and cooking utensils, and cleaning supplies. The bathroom includes a tub, shower, sink and toilet. There is plenty of storage throughout the camper including a wardrobe closet and loft storage area.The stove uses the propane tanks for fuel while the hot water and refrigerator are powered by an electric hookup at your campsite. You can rent our battery pack to power small appliances if you don't have electric hookups.Measuring just the right size at 19’, this travel trailer is easy to tow and maneuver, allowing you to navigate narrow roads and tight campsites with ease. Note: THE Hitch Electrical Connector IS A 6 PIN.Despite its compact size, this trailer boasts a functional layout that maximizes space and efficiency. Fay Bainbridge Campground is located on the north end of the island, just a 35-minute ferry ride from Downtown Seattle. The sandy beach and views of the Seattle skyline, Mount Rainier and Mount Baker are stunning.Simply make reservations online on the Bainbridge Island Metro Parks and Recreation District website (biparks) for one of 25 RV sites for $45 a night.Each site has electricity and water hookups. Site 17 is ADA accessible. Check-in time is 2:30pm, and check-out time is 1:00pm.We will deliver the camper and set it up for you at 2:30pm on the first day of your reservation. At check out, we will pick up the camper. TIP! Go to the Washington State Department of Transportation website (wsdot) to check the most up-to-date Seattle to Bainbridge sailing schedule.If you prefer to haul the camper to a different location, that is also an option. We can loan you our trailer hitch and meet you at a convenient location to help connect the camper to your vehicle.Setup Instructions: Retro 1985 Camping Trailer ChecklistArriving at the Campsite:
Positioning the Trailer:
Choose a level spot.
Unhitching:
Chock wheels with wood wedges.
Disconnect trailer from tow vehicle.
Leveling the Trailer:
Lower stabilizers and adjust as needed to level the trailer.
The crank for the stabilizers is in the forward side hatch.
Hooking up the Trailer:Electricity:
Connect to campsite power supply (make sure the breaker at the site is On).
Test outlets inside the trailer.
Water Supply:
Attach pressure reducer to inlet.
Attach water filter to pressure reducer.
Attach freshwater hose to campground spigot and then to water filter.
Turn on water at campground spigot.
Check for leaks. Tighten connections if necessary.
Sewer Hookup:
Remove black water outlet hose from rear bumper.
Remove black cap from black water outlet drain on camper.
Attach black water outlet hose to outlet drain and campsite tank inlet.
Ensure secure connections to avoid spills.
Use the sewer hose support to adjust downward slope.
Pull integrated retention gate to allow black water flow.
Propane:
Turn on propane tanks to use the gas stovetop.
To light the flame, turn on a burner and use a lighter.
Using Appliances:Refrigerator:
Powered by electricity.
It can take a few hours to reach temperature.
Water Heater:
For hot water, turn on the water heaters located under the kitchen sink.
Turn on the small water heater for hot water at the kitchen sink.
Turn on the large water heater under the sink for a 3-minute shower.
Electric Heater:
Located in the wardrobe. Ensure it's on a flat surface to avoid beeping.
Small Fan and Lamp:
Located in the overhead cabinet above the dinette.
Dinette:
Folds into a twin bed. Two latex mattress pieces and a pillow are in the bunk storage above the main bed. Extra sheets are in the wardrobe.
Outdoor Setup:Bamboo Mat:
Place the large bamboo mat under the door to minimize dirt.
Leaving Your Camping Area:Inside the Trailer:Secure Loose Items:
Store away any loose items to prevent movement during travel.
Lock cabinets, drawers, and doors.
Appliances:
Turn off and store all appliances.
Lock the refrigerator.
Windows and Vents:
Close all windows.
Close roof vents.
Lights and Power:
Turn off all lights.
Disconnect from the campsite power supply.
Outside the Trailer:Water Supply:
Disconnect the freshwater hose, filter, and pressure reducer. Use it to rinse out the sewer hose.
Store the hose inside the trailer.
Sewer Hookup:
Disconnect and clean the sewer hose campsite sewer tank.
Store the sewer hose inside rear bumper.
Propane:
Turn off propane tanks.
Stabilizers and Chocks:
Raise stabilizing jacks.
Hitching the Trailer:Connect to Tow Vehicle:
Align and connect the hitch.
Lock the hitch latch and insert the hitch pin.
Safety Chains and Cables:
Attach safety chains to the tow vehicle.
Connect the breakaway cable.
Electrical Connection:
Plug in the trailer's electrical connector.
Test lights (brake, turn signals, and running lights).
What's includedOur camper has clean sheets, blankets, pillows and beach, bath and kitchen towels. The bathroom has soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, bug spray, and a first aid kit. The kitchen has dish soap, sponges, paper towels, and trash bags. The trailer has a large welcome mat to reduce tracking in dirt. There is also a small vacuum, cleaning supplies, a portable radiant electric heater and small fan.RecommendationsBring your own personal toiletries.Other things to noteOur camper is our home away from home. Please treat it kindly and return it just the way you found it. Please put dirty sheets and towels in the bathtub upon return.
