This 2005 Thor Four Winds Majestic that we call "Donna" is perfect for a weekend getaway near Austin. She is a reliable rig that's pretty easy to drive with tons of storage space, a comfy "master" bed, newly renovated bathroom, upgraded LED lighting, room to sleep 5, and it is already stocked with everything you need for a family campout. It has a full kitchen setup including a coffee maker, kettle, utensils, roasting sticks, etc. There are linens and pillows, towels, toiletries, etc. Plus tons of extras you can add on-- river tubes, instant pot, lanterns, headlamps, camp chairs, hammocks, etc. When you are ready to hang out inside for the evening, there's a wifi-enabled TV with DVD player and board games for the family (Apples to Apples, Outburst, etc.)Both the engine and the generator start up beautifully every time! The furthest we have driven is 4 hours away and we have had no problems. This is a 2005 vehicle though so there are no guarantees that a problem won't arise. What's includedcoffee grinder

RecommendationsThough we just got "Donna" last summer, we have taken her to lots of state parks close to Austin. We've been to Pedernales Falls, McKinney Falls, Garner State Park (twice), Palmetto, Blanco, Enchanted Rock, Llano, and even down to Galveston. Another personal favorite are the parks in Georgetown. I love Cedar Breaks and Jim Hogg!Other things to noteThis is a no smoking camper!Pets are welcome, but they should not get on the master bed or the over cab bed.We ask that you only drive within a 250 mile radius of Austin.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

I can be somewhat flexible for pick up and delivery if it works with my schedule. Just reach out to me.

Q.

Can I tow my car behind the camper?

A.

No. You can use the hitch to use a bike rack or luggage rack, but we do NOT allow cars to be towed behind vehicles.

Q.

Why do you have a 250 mile radius for this motorhome?

A.

We like to be close enough to help if there are any issues. If you drive further, it makes it harder for us to get to you (and also Donna isn't a spring chicken). Good news is that there are lots of good campgrounds available near Austin.

I love traveling and the outdoors so RVing just makes sense for our family. We've done several month long trips across the US, hitting as many national parks as possible. I worked at Yellowstone for a summer, and for our honeymoon, my husband and I visited 20 national parks on an epic road trip. I am a superhost on Airbnb so I'm not new to hosting. I hope to make your vacation the best it can be!
