WE Deliver TO Your Campsite & Pick IT UP when your reservation ends. *Outdoorsy doesn't have an automatic setting for "delivery only" rentals, sorry for the uPpErCaSe YeLlInG.Family fun where the forest meets the sea! This isn't a bougie, tricked-out glamper with sateen sheets or shabby chic style. This is an Adventure Wagon! We got it to take our kids on a huge National Park road trip after our family retired from the Coast Guard. We got dirty and dusty and we took our cat and dog too! We realized other families would probably like to a similar option for visiting our awesome corner of the North Coast. The master bed is a comfortable luxury memory foam on top of a queen mattress, and the two bunk beds are extra long narrow twins. If you have a very small child, you *might* be able to sleep them on the cushioned bench seat behind the dinette table. There's plenty of closet space in the forward master bedroom, and that room can be closed off from the rest of the camper using two sliding doors. Additional interior storage is underneath the dinette benches, and, under the sink, and a pantry closet with several shelves next to the refrigerator. We've stocked the bookshelves below the tv with nature field guides and a few children's books and magazines in case you forgot anything to read for bedtime stories.Speaking of children, we love polite four-legged family members! We welcome up to 2 (two) 50 lb dogs or cats as long as they're house-trained. Please don't let them chew or scratch, try to keep them off the beds, and never ever leave them unattended inside our camper. We'll deliver and set up the camper at your pre-booked site. You'll need to share your booking confirmation with us so that we can get it checked in. You'll find a folder with more information just inside the door, and we can often be reached through the app during your stay. What's includedThe kitchen is fully outfitted with cookware, dishes, and a few basic spices. We stock our camper with paper towels, tp, a broom and dustpan, lysol wipes, spray cleaner, and hand soap. There will be four clean towels in the bathroom. We love to cook outdoors, and a 4'x2' folding table can be found in the cargo space closest to the tow hitch to use for just that! There's also a small Webber BBQ for grilling out that can be added to your rental. Our trailer has a roll-out canopy with LED lighting for enjoying evening festivities or escaping the occasional rain squall.A bag of complimentary kindling and homemade fire starters is provided. You'll need to provide your own:
Bedding including pillows, pillowcases, blankets or sleeping bags, etc. All our mattresses have waterproof covers and fitted sheets provided. Coffee making supplies, there's a plastic pour over and filters to get you through in a pinch.
RecommendationsExplore the trails! Fort to Sea, Coffenberry Lake, Fort Clatsop, Fort Columbia, Netul Landing at Fort Clatsop has plenty of parking and a covered pavilion, it's a beautiful spot for picnicking and has a flat wooded path that you can walk to the visitor's center. Cathedral Tree and the Astoria Column trail are both good options for those who like a steep incline. Some of our favorite local haunts are Wild Bay Seafood and the Blue Scorcher in Astoria, and the Nest Bakery at Sunset Beach. Our favorite local coffee shops are Cambium and Coffee Girl, both for the delicious drinks and treats and the cool ambiance. Check out the self-guided tour of the Bumble Bee Cannery out on Pier 39 when you go to Coffee Girl, just walk between the wooden fishing boats to see the double door entrance. Other things to noteWE Deliver TO Your Campsite.PETS: Whatever you do, don't leave them inside unattended! Please use the provided Lysol disinfecting wipes to clean up any accidents and sweep out the entire camper upon departure.

Meet your host, Erica

Member since 2023

Our family of four humans and two furry friends enjoys winter camping on the Pacific coast. In 2022 Dan retired from the United States Coast Guard and we took a 3,500 mile road trip of our dreams! A few of our national park stops included Crater Lake, Mammoth Lakes, Zion, the north rim of the Grand Canyon, and Bryce. For now we're living our best life building our homestead in Astoria, OR. We'd like to share our camper with people who need a little more creature comforts than tent camping provides, but also aren't looking for flat screen tvs, shabby chic decor, or a blender in their trailer camping experience.

Erica and Dan are friendly, communicative, and timely. Their trailer was lovely to stay in and came with all the essentials. They let us know what we'd need to bring, so we did. The only nice-to-haves I can think to add would be a toaster (we brought one), a power strip or extension cord (the kitchen outlets in this trailer are about 6 inches too high for most small kitchen appliance cords, go figure), and an HDMI extension cable plugged in to the TV since the inputs aren't accessible (we're gamers so we brought our own monitor for evening entertainment).

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Dan and I will deliver the travel trailer at the start of your booking and pick it up by 12 noon the day of your departure. We will empty the sewage and grey water tanks then. We don't rent our trailer out for others to tow and set up themselves. Your campsite rental MUST be "full hook up" meaning water, sewer, electric. If not, check the Add-On "4th day tank empty" while booking.. If you conserve water "if it's yellow let it mellow", it'll hold 72 hours for the average family of 4.
