Provided detailed RV overview

Jason was responsive to questions, gave a good overview of RV systems, and kept the van clean and stocked with forgotten essentials, showing thoughtfulness.

Drives wonderfully in all conditions

The spacious, well-laid-out van drives wonderfully, handling city, highway, and mountains. It features a super comfortable bed, good storage, gas engine, heater, microwave, solar, and swivel seats.

Our trip worked out very well and Jason was responsive to any questions. He gave us a good overview of all the systems in the RV at the beginning of our trip. The RV had a good supply of things like paper plates and bowls, regular plates and bowls, napkins, bug spray, lotion etc. The passenger seat sat high so my feet were a couple inches above the floor. A small sturdy box placed upside down took care of that problem. It was a comfortable bed, comfortable ride and good storage. Would rent again.

We had such a great time in White Chocolate! The can is very spacious and well laid out. The bed is big enough for two and comfortable. Driving was easy and she handled nicely in some winds. Amenities we appreciated: heater, microwave, 110 electric, solar power, swivel front seats, and lighting. Can happily recommend this van for a rental!

We loved everything about this van!!! We are so sad to end our trip. It was surreal being able to work on my computer with breath taking views of Big Sur. I so enjoyed making coffee with a whole breakfast in the Redwoods. The host is incredible and so is his family. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and accommodating. They have the van very clean and stocked up for any thing I may have forgotten. Many people would walk by and compliment the van. Understandably so! They don’t miss a detail with White Chocolate. The bed is super comfortable and the van drives wonderful. Love how it’s gas not diesel. Looking forward to our next adventure in this amazing home away from home!! Thank you Jason!

Frequently asked questions

Q.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

A.

Fresh and grey water convenience... Easily empty and/or refill 5 gallon containers to keep it fresh. No hook-ups necessary, as the power is 100% solar powered. We have a clean and easy-to-use portable toilet but of course recommended using camping facilities (restroom/shower) when available. The provided porta-potty is subject to a $150 cleaning fee if not cleaned by renter. A/C plugs are available throughout the van. The heater runs very well and also battery powered.

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

Pickup for free in either Arroyo Grande or Atascadero. Otherwise a delivery charge of $100 within 50 miles of Arroyo Grande with $1.00 per mile thereafter.

Q.

How do you charge for pets?

A.

To ensure the comfort and safety of all our renters, including those with allergies, we have established the following pet policy: Dogs are welcome on a pre-approved basis, with a $100 charge per pup. ALL dogs must weigh under 25 lbs, and be hypoallergenic. You’re responsible for maintaining pet cleanliness and covering any damage. An additional $100 cleaning fee will be charged if there is pet hair, stains, or odors upon the van's return.

As a former Air Force guy, I value simplicity and self-reliance. Now, l've traded jet fuel for open skies and winding mountain roads. My custom-built camping van is my sanctuary, a mobile base for exploring the heart of Central California and more. I'm all about finding those hidden gems, those quiet spots where you can truly connect with God and nature. Whether it's a weekend with my kids looking for rocks in a pristine lake, or a solo trip to capture stunning sunsets over the Sierras, this van is how I create lasting memories with family and friends. Hope you can also create with this van, those unforgettable moments! - Jason
