RecommendationsWNC is an amazing playground for anyone who enjoys the outdoors! Some favorite places include DuPont State Park, Pisgah Forest, Nantahala/Bryson City area, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Smoky Mountain National Park, and Grandfather Mountain. There are campgrounds within the forest and many others outside of the forest as well. Other things to notePlease see rules of the road section.Pets are welcome in the ARB Awning with tent room. My pup sleeps in the tent on an elevated dog bed and loves it. Please note that if tent is ripped or damaged, I will need to charge to replace it.If you are renting the rig for a festival, the security deposit will be higher given the nature of the environment. Same applies for out of area rentals. The rate reflects local rentals to the WNC/Upstate SC area. If you would like to rent the rig for longer distances, please message me for a quote.

Michelle was very responsive, descriptive, accommodating and overall great to coordinate with. The teardrop, itself, exceeded expectations for what I was looking for to spend the weekend in, with a comfortable bed, awning (with the optional tent I didn’t use this time) and the rear kitchen. As a Jeep Wrangler driver (Unlimited/four door/longer wheel base), the 1500 lb weight was a perfect pairing with my 3500 tow capacity, even with steep mountain roads to my destination. It was helpful that Michelle offered a hitch add-on as I don’t own one. The limited power the fridge and vent use make it easy for shore power or solar to keep up and allows for more flexible site options (ie boondocking or a tent site without 30amp power). Also, the wheeled jack makes it that much more manageable to maneuver around the campsite without having to hitch back up to the tow vehicle. Oh, and the inclusion of so many cooking items and USB C and A outlets made for far fewer things to have to show up with. Overall a great experience! I’ll definitely rent this one again!

Michelle was absolutely awesome, very helpful and personable. The trailer was clean and well prepared. Looked good behind our lifted Jeep JK and drew alot of interest from other jeepers up at Uharrie where we camped at Arrowhead Campground.

Michelle’s answer

Thanks so much Stephen 😁. You were a delight to work with and I’m glad you had a great time with the rig!

Traveled to Overland Expo East 2023 about 310 miles - no problems (~610 round trip). Trailer hooked up easy and traveled great! Michelle is very thorough, responsive and flexible. We towed it with a Ford Transit T350 Adventure Van. Ideally you'll need your 2" hitch ball to be about 20" off the group to be level. I've towed various trailers thousands of miles and this trailer tracks behind the vehicle nicely. It has an ARB Awning and integrated zip in room great for changing, getting out of the rain and/or having some friends/kids sleep in it. It took about 15mins to set-up = simple. The tear drop has everything you need for a "boon dock" camping trip -- utensils, plates, spices, foil, water, etc. -- pack a bag, hook-up and go! Get out there and enjoy!

The rig is great and Michelle is awesome. Extremely thorough and very responsive to all questions throughout. The setup was easy and very convenient. Fully stocked kitchen, comfy cabin, solar recharge for non electric sites which we needed, and shore hookup for electric sites. Fridge, grill and water worked great. Shade and side room excellent to stand and change, store gear protected from weather. Cabin well laid out with passthrough, drawers, hooks, lights, plugs and comfy mattress. Stores tons of gear while traveling, we also added our rooftop box for another tent, chairs and adventure gear. Rig hauled easy on a big adventure to the Rockies! Local or long distance, highly recommend this rental.

Michelle’s answer

Q.Does this rig sleep more than 2?
A.
Yes - this rig can actually sleep more than 2, but I list as 2 because 2 adults can sleep comfortable inside the teardrop. 1 adult and 2 small children can sleep inside the teardrop. 2 additional campers can sleep in the attached ARB tent room if you need additional space.
