Glamper #1 offers the ultimate road-trip glamping experience for couples or small families. Built by the Erwin Hymer Group, a high-end German RV company known for constructing smart, well designed luxury vacation vehicles. In addition to the standard kitchen, propane stove, microwave, flat screen TV, air conditioning, furnace and inverter, the Aktiv 2.0 model features leather seats, bathroom with toilet, shower and sink, built-in generator, power awning, rear back-up camera and navigation.It has 2 solar powered lithium ion batteries as well as 2 AGM backup batteries, both charged by the under hood generator to make the best use of surplus electricity created while the engine is running or driving down the road.This stylish unit sports seatbelts and sleeping accommodations for 2 people with a power full-sized bed.What's included150 miles per day free, fresh linens and towels, pots, pans, dinner plates, silverware, mugs, coffee maker, water kettle, electric awning, 2 camping chairs.RecommendationsSeward, Homer, Denali Park, Fairbanks and Valdez are all at the top of my personal list. There is no smoking and no pets allowed in our rental cars. If you plan to bring your pet please discuss it with us beforehand and we may consider approving your request to bring a pet with the understanding there may be an additional cleaning fee.We do not allow our passenger cars to be driven off-road. Specifically, the Denali Highway, Denali Park Road, McCarthy / Kennicott Rd., Hatcher’s Pass Road and the “haul road” north of Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay. If your travel plans include any of these roads please let us know so we can discuss potential options and help you make arrangements for that type of travel. These roads are very primitive, are not frequently maintained, cause significant wear & tear to our vehicles and have a high risk of tire or rim damage - especially for passenger cars with lower profile tires.Guests should be aware they are not covered by rental insurance if they take a rental car off-road and will be responsible for all damage, windshield cracks or chips, flat tires, excessive wear and tear and/or towing and recovery fees for any issues that result from driving on dirt or poorly maintained roads or trails. Additional cleaning fees may also be incurred for vehicles that are taken off road without prior arrangement.

Sunny and her Mother are simply amazing. In terms of responsiveness, friendliness and easy-going-mentality: Five Stars! The same counts for their support with organization of our trip or any other ways of offering help, such as giving us there car to shop for groceries whilst they were finishing preparing the RV.

We had a great trip overall. The bed isn’t a king so be prepared for that. Sunny was easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for a great time in Alaska! Would definitely book again.
