I live year-round in Talkeetna, Alaska, and in the summer run a fly fishing guiding business in addition to building and renting wilderness cabins. Most of my off-season is working as a Journalist for numerous national periodicals and websites. If you're in Alaska, please pick up one of my books, Tales of the Alaska State Troopers, from Skyhorse Publishing. We often have our standard poodle Millie in tow and she loves to meet our renters.

I had an amazing adventure in one of the Peter's rentals. Van met all my expectations. It was clean and easy to drive. Peter and his team were awesome. They went above and beyond to accommodate all my needs They also equip you with all necessary supplies to head out camping straight from pickup location! I highly recommend renting from Peter. I would do it again soon.

We made a big circle from Anchorage to Denali, then Fairbanks - Tok - Palmer and down to Cooper Landing, Homer, and Soldatna. The van was very reliable and comfortable for the two of us. I’m 6’3” tall and can just barely stand upright inside. The bed is comfortable and the amenities, like the fridge, sink, and electrical supply are good. We had a day and a half with no real sunlight to speak of because of heavy weather and we did run out of power from the solar system. But, everything powered up and charged when we started up the engine the next morning. Pick up at the airport was right on time and Peter was a great host.
