5.0Chris and Jeanny were amazing RV hosts. They set everything up perfectly and were so accommodating, picking us up at our Anchorage Hotel at 9am to start our trip. The RV was comfortable and perfect for our family of 3. My 13 y.o. son loved the bunk up top. The RV was well equipped with cooking utensils and extra items like olive oil and spices, making it super easy to grab some groceries and head out on our way. We highly recommend and would def rent again when we come back in the future.

5.0I'm not sure how to even start! We had SO MUCH fun!!! First let me start on why I chose to contact Chris and Jeanny, I've been trying to put this trip together since last year, when I started looking at motorhome rentals I was overwhelmed by the amount and choices that are out there. I quickly learned that many of them nickel and dime you over many little things which I did not like, my main reason to rent a motorhome was to travel to several different places in Alaska so milage and use of generator were my main concern. When I filtered my options for free milage and use of generator the list of options suddenly decreased and now I had a reasonably easier choices. I looked at Chris's rental and first thing that I noticed were great reviews from previous renters, I contacted Chris and he didn't asked for money or my credentials but what I would like to do on my trip!!! Chris and Jeanny made sure we had everything needed for our adventure, they itemized all of the things we might need and made sure it was all to my satisfaction. To make this review simple and easy all we needed to bring to Alaska was our clothes and personal items! Everything else was provided, keep in mind it was me my wife, two of my daughters with their men, six of us total. We have such a great time!!! To make this little harder for Chris and Jeanny, we arrived in Alaska after midnight! They had no problem picking us up at the airport and driving to nice spot to go over the motorhome amenities and to sign our contract. From there all we needed to get was fresh groceries and away we went! Everything worked as promised through out our trip, if I had a question Chris replied immediately with answer. Uppon our return we cleaned up the motorhome to our best abilities and I hope Chris and Jeanny were as happy as we were!!! Thank you again Chris and Jeanny for letting us have a wonderfull stay in Alaska, the views, animals and fishing was GREAT!!! (did I mention Chris provided us with fishing equipment?) 5.0The rental of the RV was one of the best experiences I have had renting anything. The owners were so overly helpful in the planning of my trip. They gave me suggestions on where to stay, made sure the RV was in top shape and answered any questions I had along the way. They offered the best customer service that would rival a five star hotel. I was so comfortable driving the RV for a week it almost felt like it was mine at the end of the trip. I would highly recommend renting from Chris and Jeanny Stone. It made our stay in Alaska one of our top vacations.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
1) Slow down, you have a much longer stopping length 2) Don't text. In your car you are 5' wide and can afford some lane wobble...in an RV you're 8 1/2' wide and if you wander just a bit you're already hitting the person in the next lane. 3) Turns require much wider arcs to prevent hitting curbs and objects 4) Backing up is the source of most damage...always have a spotter on the driver's side rear corner watching your path

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
We'll text you videos on camper operation for reference later in the trip. The orientation covers a lot and its easy to miss some key details. YouTube videos are great too, but many remote areas have bad signal so you want the video downloaded. Will also have a book in the RV with common tasks

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Super flexible. We know flight arrival times are all around the clock, and delays are common with several connections to make it north, so we can take care of you both before and after the trip depending on other rental timing. We can grab the entire family at the airport and run to a grocery store (Walmart off Old Seward Hwy or the one off A Street are very popular for this). We'll help ensure you don't incur an extra day of lodging at a hotel or be stuck with your suitcases for long

Can I drive anywhere with my rental?
A.
While the mileage is unlimited, the RV is required to stay within the contiguous state of Alaska (can't drive to Canada). Additionally, Alaska is full of desolate gravel highways that run for miles and miles. These roads are notorious for eating vehicle tires, causing accidents, getting people stuck with zero cell signal. As such just like other rental agencies in AK, our RV is for paved road use only.
