Additional rules

We have been providing Alaska rentals for a few years and have found that all of our customers got more bang for their buck on the Southern tour route: Seward, Hope, Homer, etc.. Additionally, the Northern roads to Fairbanks, McCarthy, Denali, etc, are very rocky and filled with frost heaves, and can cause undo damage to the rig. As such, we are only renting to those clients who wish to take the Southern route. Anyway, when the mountain’s out, you can see it from anywhere 😎.

Our trip was amazing from start to finish. The RV was clean and well maintained, while the pick up and drop off process was seamless. Leslie and Kate were so helpful and really made the whole experience that much better. They were easy to contact and gave us great suggestions for our trip. The RV was stocked with everything we could possibly need, which made traveling so easy and enjoyable. We would highly suggest this RV to anyone seeking a high quality camping experience in Alaska.

The perfect RV for our Alaska vacation! It was user friendly, easy to drive, and we so appreciated the extra touches (hair dryer, toiletries, spices, etc.)

KB and Leslie were great hosts. They answered all of our questions and were fun to be around. We would definitely rent from then again and would 100% recommend them.

Things to do nearby

This place is open 24/7 and is run by fantastic, long-time Alaskans. The dump station is free, but you can also make use of their RV size auto wash.

Their dump station is only $5.00, but call first, as it seems to break down a lot.

At the base of Denali, a funky little town with lots of flight opportunities for a close up view of the "Great One."

  • Sightseeing

Former site of USAF Mille silos, with numerous historical markers. great Mt. biking, hiking, and frisbee golf. Lots of moose and the occasional bear.

  • Dog-friendly
  • Hiking

Pristine Glacier Lake that supplies the drinking water for Anchorage, AK

The hike is a rite of passage, despite being strenuous and a little dangerous at the top of the climb...but the views....mmm.

Known by the locals simply as "Simon's" this Anchorage landmark has beautiful panoramic views overlooking Cook Inlet, and the "Sleeping Lady." Great steaks & fresh seafood.

The Bear Tooth is always jumping, as it offers a dine in movie theater, and fantastic Mexican inspired food, AK faves & works with local farmers and fisheries to source quality seafood & produce.

An expensive choice, but well worth the price for the food, ambience, and history. Chef Jens Hansen, who died a few years ago, trained all the best cooks in town.
