Imagine sitting next to a warm crackling fire parked next to one of Alaska's 3 million lakes taking in the vast beauty that this wonderful state has to offer. My wife and I are lifelong Alaskans and are always seeking the outdoors that is nearly limitless just out our front door. Two lifetimes of exploration allows us to bring to the table a distilled amount of advice and suggestions we give all our guests to ensure an amazing vacation. From provided coffee, to the option to rent a heated shower, forced air heater or a canoe, stand up paddle board, or bicycles, we have everything you need to make your Alaskan experience not just great, but incredible.I have a clean and well maintained Toyota Tacoma, highly modified for Alaskan overland adventures. From the outside, it just looks like a tough Toyota with a mild lift and oversized tires. As you look closer, you will notice a custom roof rack, 2 person roof tent, and a few upgrades to the toy to “Alaskanize” it.The interior seats 2 people comfortably, with room for bags to stay out of the weather in the back of the cab. This overland truck comes complete with setups for two people:
-camping table and chairs
-map book and a copy of 'The Milepost', Alaska's premiere mile by mile guidebook
-2 butane camp stoves
-pots and pans
-12V oven
-coffee press and coffee prep equipment
-dishware, silverware, kitchenware
-large collapsible bowl for washing up
-towels for camp showering
-5 gallon water container from our well
-Sheets, 2 thick blankets, and pillows
-2 person rooftop tent
-bear spray
-mosquito repellant—————no sleeping bags provided, only linens for rooftop two person tent————-.......And all the little camping amenities that I am sure I am forgetting that you will need to make your Alaska adventure awesome! All this is packaged into a super easy to drive Toyota outfitted and ready for your Alaskan adventure.Bring your small child, as there are seat belts for 4, but sleeping arrangements for two adults. There are two tiny seats in the back but would only recommend for children. I wouldn’t want to sit back there for an extended amount of time.Get ready for an epic Alaskan adventure with this truck! wake up next to a lake and have hot coffee while watching the swans and loons through the gentle mist while the sun warms the day. Or wake up high in a mountain pass watching the sheep and goats jump along steep cliffs with snow still peeking out from the tops of the mountains. Choose your adventure! For more pics and info, search #aksuboverland on instagramIf you get the basic insurance, you are required to get the roadside assistance. If you get one of the two premium insurances, you are not required to get roadside assistance, as it comes with!!Vehicle can be picked up after 4 pm on day of rental, and must be dropped off before 11 am on drop off day.The tent pictured has been replaced with a high end 3 person. 4 season hard shell tent similar to an IKamper

My wife and I are lifelong Alaskans and we love going on adventures exploring this incredible and vast state. We find joy in showing others the wonders Alaska has to offer. We run a RV rental business, an AirBnB, and work full time, so we definitely stay busy! Growing up in Alaska allows me to pass on my wealth of information to others so they can get a better experience from my trial and errors.

My husband and I visited Alaska for the first time and we enjoyed every minute of our trip. Renting Erik’s Toyota truck helped us greatly in exploring some of the most beautiful places in the state. The truck was equipped with the tent that fits 2 people and all the basic necessities, from blankets and pillows to cooking utensils. It was a huge deal for us as we didn’t worry about purchasing anything, except food. We especially loved the portable shower pop up tent and shower pump we could use to stay clean every day.

This rental had everything we needed for a 10 day trip in Alaska. The cooler kept everything cold way beyond our expectations. The mattress in the tent was extremely comfortable and the blankets kept us warm during some cold 40 degree nights. The truck was easy to drive, clean, and spacious inside.
