Rent our cozy vacation van! Enjoy a comfortable sleep out of the elements, while staying connected to the outdoors. This Denali highway cruiser is a great base camp for exploring Alaska during the summer, and shoulder seasons. What's includedBasic amenities such as a portable camp stove, water jug, cooler, 2-way fan for temperature control, solar shower (although it rarely gets warm enough here to use it), device plug-ins, camp chairs, fire extinguisher, bear spray, and ample storage for your Alaskan adventure. Bring your own sleeping bags, or we can provide bedding upon request. Airport dropoff/pickup in Anchorage is available for a small fee :)RecommendationsCruise south and check out all the peninsula towns such as Homer, Seward, Whittier, and Girdwood, or go north for an adventure through Denali National Park and on to Fairbanks. Visit Chena hot springs and make a loop down to Valdez. Ask us for local hiking and biking recommendations! Other things to notePet’s welcome! Recommend sticking to pavement or well-travelled dirt roads as this van is 2wd and has summer highway tires. You don’t want to get stuck in this thing! No smoking inside the van, and definitely don't drive on the beach. Keep in mind this is an older van that's had a full life, so it has some quirks here and there but is reliable and will get you where you want to go! On that note, the van does NOT have A/C. This normally isn’t an issue up here with our mild summer climate, but occasionally it will get warm! Especially if driving north toward the interior.

Couple with a dog living in Anchorage, Alaska. We love traveling around the state to explore new places year round! I started camping in my vehicle at ski resorts, and that has led to us converting a van for more comfortable adventures to fit the whole crew. We are on to our second van build and want to share the first van by renting it to guests visiting the state.

We had a great time in the green monster. We named it Oscar and she served us very well. She got us to where we needed and it was cozy to sleep each night. Chas answered texts from me whenever I needed and was very helpful. We had a wonderful time explored Alaska and would recommend this van.

Chas was easy to work with and approachable with great response times. The van served all of our needs especially on the rainy nights. The bed was comfy and the portable stove was great for making all of our meals. It was a blast living the van life for a week!
