We are a family run father and son small business. My father started the rv rental company in the end of 2018. Now in 2022 I'm branching away from the the luxury Class A's RV's and starting to rent out passenger vans for family vacations, tailgates, corporate events, etc.

The truck ran well.
3 issues:
1) we weren't told we would not be allowed to use the bed as it was deactivated upon delivery. the reason cited was to protect the motor that reclines the bed. it would have been nice to use this feature.
2) roof leakage in the rain- we had water come in toward the back of the passenger compartment while in transit. we also had water come in to the front cabin passenger side twice after being parked in the rain.
3) the ABS/check engine light came on when in transit on the way home. this disabled the cruise control and also reading the manual says that safety in breaking could have been compromised.
3 issues:

John is amazing! Checkmate and company is absolutely wonderful. From the reservation consideration to last minute accommodations. The sprinter rental was superb, endless amenities, very clean and showed up in style. I would recommend John and checkmate to anyone inquiring, if I could give him 10 stars I would! Me and my family had an amazing time during our rental period.

We rented the Sprinter Remi for a trip down to the Army/Navy game in Baltimore and couldn’t have been happier. The van was spotless when we picked it up and drove beautifully. I strongly recommend Jonathan and Checkmate rentals for all of your RV/Sprinter rental needs !

The van was comfortable, spacious and clean. Having live DirectTV for the drive was great! It made the long drive go by quickly. The van was very easy to drive and John was super responsive when I sent him questions. I would definitely recommend this place!

Renting a sprinter from Checkmate Luxury Sprinters was a unique experience.
Van was luxurious, and very clean.
Jon was extremely helpful, accommodating, and friendly. He also spent time explaining all details of the vehicle.
Don't pass up checking out Checkmate if you want a rental.
