The one and ONLY compliment that I will give, is that Thomas or "Tom" seemed like a pretty standup guy over the course of our communications. Every conversation we had was decent...even up to two days prior to my family's stay, which was the LAST time I have spoken with him. I initially called him upon our arrival to inquire about the keys to the trailer but got no answer. However, once we stepped inside the DISGUSTING nightmare began! The trailer was a disgusting filthy mess (which I will insert proof with pictures)!! Hair EVERYWHERE (human AND animal) from the kitchen and on all the beds to the counters, food on the counters, floors were absolutely disgusting with trash, dead bugs, and the oven was even filthy and unusable!! It was despicable and disappointing to say the very least! After a long day of travel, having to bring my two babies and husband into our "home" for 5 whole days looking this way was shameful...just shameful!!! As I walked into the master room, there was literally a puddle of water on the floor and water stains on the bed from the active pouring of water getting directly onto the bed from the overhead fan. This was when the second phone call went out to him (with no answer again), followed by a text message alerting him to this water leakage...to which he NEVER even responded the entire time!!! It was shameful that we paid the kind of expensive price we did, and my husband had to purchase our own additional cleaning supplies and put in sweat to get this trailer up to par!! To not hear ANYTHING from or receive ANY sort of calls or check-ups from this person our entire 5-day stay had my blood boiling. Some of the appliances were completely unusable and the trailer was so dingy and unkept! We were unable to sleep in any of the beds because of the filth and water damage, only the pull-out couches. One of the features I specifically paid for was the outdoor kitchen. Imagine my surprise to open that door and the blackstone that I was so excited to use being completely rusted and we couldn't even use the feature we paid for!!! This is so heartbreaking to write because not only was this my family's very first experience with RV camping, but it was also our very first time renting an RV as well and this DID NOT leave a good impression at all. Not to mention, it was Father's Day weekend!! One of the biggest reasons I went with this company is because my husband is also a military veteran and we wanted to show our support to a “veteran owned" business. We are NOT happy with this overpriced company's performance and communication and will NEVER be using them again! Not to worry though, we left a very pristine clean on the place for the next family who gets off the road from a long trip! I really wish I could be refunded a portion of what I spent for this rental for doing what I paid to have done and for the assurance (and insurance!) I expected to have!! Potential renters: YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

It was a great experience. You were very informative in the camper. Was there when you said it would be. Very nice camper.. only thing I would suggest is updating the mattress in the main bedroom.. I would definitely use your company again though.

They responded quickly and remedied all our issues timely. We camped in our own camper for 40+ years and understand there are many issues that arise in maintaining them. Two different people were dispatched to deal with our problems, and they were both friendly, professional and did their jobs perfectly.

The reservation process was great, the delivery and set up were on time and took a LOT off our vacation stress by not having to drive a camper and set up etc. We had issues with the camper not being clean (sinks, floors) and ants completely covering all surfaces including mattresses and the linens that we paid extra for. I ended up having to get other bed linens because we did not have an easy way to launder the bedding to rid of ants. The TV did not work, ended up having to buy a new antenna for it. The fridge was constantly needing to be reset and cooled down again and again. We ended up using neighbors fridge. The battery located in the hatch underneath the front bedroom exploded and resulted in terrible fumes and battery acid draining. We called in these issues and were told that a service call would be placed and they would get someone out ASAP. For the remainder of the next 7 days, we never heard from or saw anyone. I asked for refund for the linens and did not receive it. I did not ask for a discount on the rental and should have because we certainly did not get what we paid for.

Our overall experience was very good! We've never been camping before, and we would definitely rent again! The camper was very clean, modern, and comfortable. When we weren't out enjoying the campgrounds, we were inside the camper! There were a few issues upon arrival: The kitchen faucet handle was leaking, and we later discovered that the toilet was also. MTRV was very attentive to our issues, although it took 3 days to get the toilet fixed (I think that was due to the repair company). They also never provided instructions on what to do when the black tank got full, so we had to contact MTRV, who sent someone out to take care of it. MTRV provided a very easy and seamless process to enjoy our first camping experience. They even provided a lot of the basics like toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc. so we didn't have to buy it to get started! We will definitely consider renting from them again!

Would have been nice to have a manual for that specific RV model, especially when trying to find all the gray water drains and opening valves

Whether you’re hooking up or boondocking, MTRV Rentals is the place to help make your camping adventure more enjoyable without the stress. Customer service is their priority-making you feel like you are their only customer, all the while juggling many customers in multiple locations. They have a large fleet of rentals and are more than willing to help you decide which RV and options are right for your trip. Communication is very important-email confirmations for rental, texts and phone calls to confirm arrival time, double checking everything is set up ok and answering any questions you have along the way. Delivery is a lifesaver. You don’t have to worry about towing or setting up or breaking down properly. They’ve got that down to a fine science! All you have to do is show up with your personal belongings and have a wonderful time! Tom, his wife and Dennis are amazing! We can’t wait for our next adventure with MTRV Rentals!
