Memories made on trips with Sean Purcell's RVs

Had a lot of fun with this RV. Renter is friendly and easy to work with. Of all the items mentioned below, none were deal breakers and would recommend for the next person!

Sean’s answer

Thank you Kais for renting with me and for the positive feedback.
I'm assuming the floors may have gotten grass/debris/dirt tracked in via our walkthrough as the yard was mowed the morning of your pick-up, and the entire RV was cleaned the evening before. With that said, I do apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused you during your trip. In light of your feedback, a new awning has been ordered, the bathroom door has been adjusted and re-seated accordingly, and I'm in the process of arranging a re-upholstery of all seating.

Sean is a pleasant person to speak to. He is very thorough with explaining the ins and outs of the RV. It took 2 hours to go through it all. Unfortunately, the check engine light came on and we had a mechanic check it out. Also, the generator never stayed on for more than 5 minutes so we were not able to use it at all. The heater works great and the slide outs work great. Great fridge and the bed is comfy. Weird layout with the bathroom in the bedroom but we made do. The inside is very worn on the corners of sink, table, and chairs. Check out was quick and easy. Overall, it was a decent first time for me to take the family on a long trip.

Unfortunately, a previous renter suffered a problem with my RV's engine which was previously unknown and the RV was able to be repaired in time for Lisa's Christmas day departure.

We rented this RV for our road trip to our wedding destination. Unfortunately, soon after we left we had some issues with the generator and soon after, the RV broke down, rendering it inoperable, and we had to rent a car instead to make the trip. Up until the RV broke down, it was good. RV was clean, no other issues.

RV is fully kitted out and had everything we needed for the trip. Sean was very thorough in explaining how-to-operate all the RV systems, and also accommodating to our travel schedule which I greatly appreciated. The RV interior is in a bit rougher condition than what can be seen from the pictures, just cosmetic wear and tear and did not effect comfort or functionality. I would absolutely rent this RV again from Sean.

We took Seans RV up to Georgia and back this past weekend and a had a great time.
Sean took the time to go over everything and answered any questions we had.
The RV is very easy to operate and handles the road very well although fair warning being a heavy vehicle is not the best on gas mileage. Approx 10 miles per gallon. Beds are comfy and it’s fully stocked.
Overall I rated Sean and the rental experience 5 stars.

Sean was excellent about teaching all necessary knowledge about his RV before the trip. The RV drove like a charm for a round trip of 2,200 miles and we saw the eclipse with my wife and some of her family. The drive was great because everyone but the driver could use the restroom which cut down on travel times. My uncle is missing his leg below the knee and my father-in-law has sciatica issues and they were comfortable riding in the dinette during the trip. We made the voyage in 4 total days so it was long days on the road and I was supremely comfortable in the seat and it drove as if it wasn't a 27 foot RV. The other passengers were able to entertain themselves by watching DVDs on the included TV. When we pulled in for the evening, setup was extremely quick and seamless. When I was a kid, my father had a trailer and it took 20 minutes + to back in, unhook, level with a manual crankshaft, and set everything up. I was able to get all of that accomplished in less than 2 minutes with the RV's tech. The self-service refilling was simple to accomplish and overall the cost of the trip was worth the comfort, ADA accessibility, and the fact that we literally travelled with everything we had. A great experience and something we plan on returning to in the future.
