About Chris Flores
Far Out is one of many cool stories that began in the midst of the pandemic. Cooped up and stir crazy, my wife and I (Chris) began to rethink some of the life goals we originally pictured for ourselves. We both love to travel and I have an entrepreneurial spirit; naturally, we landed on starting a business where we could share our passion for adventure with others. We soon fell in love with the idea of van life and that’s where Far Out began. We bought a Jayco Swift and took our first trip in September 2021. The simplicity and comfort of travel in an RV opens up so many destinations across the US. We’ve enjoyed our journeys so far and can’t wait to help you get started with yours.

FANTASTIC!!! perfect. Chris was so great with communication and quick to respond to questions I had. The Rv was so perfect. Check in was easy and Chris went through all the info to use the RV. There were 2 of us, and we were very comfortable in it. Driving it was very easy. My other half is 6'4 and he fit comfortably on the bed. Having a big fridge was very good. And the freezer was a bonus. And we really appreciated changing our return time the same morning. We were able to make our flight home. We look forward to next year's rental. Thank you very much Chris!

We had a fantastic time traveling in the Flores Glamper Van! We traveled from Austin, Texas to Hot Springs, Arkansas with our 3 dogs for 5 days. We had a fantastic time and the well organized van kept us moving along smoothly. We especially enjoyed being able to cook "indoors" while having the back doors open to the lakes and scenery. We HIGHLY recommend renting with these folks, their easy to work with and are thorough during the vehicle review.

We had an amazing fun road trip in the Fab Freelander! Two adults and 4 kids on a 5 day adventure to Big Bend and no complaints. RV came with all we needed for our trip and had plenty of storage. Chris was easy to work with and a responsive communicator.

The Glamper Van was perfect for our 7 day road trip. It was clean, well-stocked, comfortable for 2 people and a medium-sized dog, and easy to drive. Chris and Sarah were thorough in their walk-through and very communicative. We would definitely rent from Far Out RV Rentals for our next roadtrip or even a long camping weekend.

We took a road trip to Virginia and after riding in this, I will certainly rent again. The bathroom made our trip so much more efficient and the dimmable lights in the backseats allowed me to read while my husband took the wheel at night. Overall the ride was comfortable and smooth. Easy to operate, easy to drive. Chris was prompt in all responses & was flexible when we wanted to keep the van an extra day! Highly recommend.

We rented Chris and Sarah's RV to take our grandson camping. The van was spotless and very comfortable. The communication was spot on. Every time I messaged Chris, I had a reply within minutes. Our grandson loved the inflatable bed that was just the right size for him. Unfortunately, he got sick so we had to cut our trip short but if we do it again, we would rent from Chris and Sarah.. They gave us a very detailed walk thru before hand. Super hosts, I highly recommend!!!!

Chris and Sarah’s glamper van was incredibly amazing! It was such a comfortable drive, even for very long stretches, as we drove it all the way to San Diego. The rig was easy to handle and driving it was a breeze. It was very clean and well organized and came with all the necessities like plates, sheets, blankets etc. The tv’s with access to Netflix, etc was an added bonus, as well
as Apple Play to listen to music. The rig had an outdoor awning, which we did not use, but looked super cool! We added the cargo bag for the roof and it was spacious and easy to use. Everything was exactly as pictured and described and then some! The owners were very kind and patient. We appreciated the time they took to explain the ins and outs of their rv. They even provided a thorough manual about the rv. They were highly responsive to any inquiries we had. Thank you so much Chris and Sarah , for allowing us to rent your rv! It was perfect for our needs. 😊

Just returned from a 9 day RV trip that included Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Great Sand Dunes National Park & Manitou Springs/Colorado Springs. The RV made the trip comfortable & fulfilling. We had a few minor issues for which Chris was readily available to assist with making the trip worry free. The RV is clean and has a like new feel. If I were planning another road trip like this, I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this RV again!

This van was 1,000% awesome! And Chris was exceptionally kind and easy to work with! The videos and written instructions he provided for everything were clear and detailed, which was really beneficial for a novice RV user like me. The vehicle drove like a dream, and it had everything we needed in it, while remaining compact enough to fit in every parking space we encountered. We drove from Austin to Colorado, then to Wyoming and Montana, and then back to Austin. It was so helpful to have the comforts of home everywhere we went. When we ended up being unable to leave Yellowstone as scheduled due to flooding and road closures, Chris checked on us. So thoughtful! Hope we can do another trip in it next year! If you’re hesitating, I encourage you to go for it! My family will never forget this incredible Glamper Van experience!

I had never used a camper van or hooked up to an RV park before. The Glamper Van was a great introduction to RV-style vacations. The in-person orientation covered all the van features. The documentation put together (PDF & video) and the helpful labels around the van allowed me to accomplish basically every task I needed to do during my trip. We didn't use every single feature of the van, but all the ones we needed were easy to use and worked well.

My family of 3 (myself, hubby, and 5 year old) are first-time RVers, so we were happy to find a platform like Outdoorsy that made us feel comfortable and prepared to give it a try. Further, we were so lucky to come across Chris and Sara’s rig for many reasons: 1) Chris and Sara were soooo helpful and informative throughout the weeks and days leading up to our trip. Renting an RV for the first time is pretty nerve-racking, but all of their support took away every bit of worry we had. They were even helpful with a few questions we had during our rental. 2) The rig is surprisingly user-friendly and very easy to drive! It’s also modern, new, and incredibly well-maintained. It’s got all the comforts of home with enough space and amenities to feel at home no matter where you go. 3) I couldn’t believe how efficient the rig seemed to be on gas. I mentally prepared to spend hundreds on gas, yet it only required one fill up for about $60– and this is with gas prices at almost $4 a gallon. This was a pleasant surprise, especially considering that we drove around quite a bit to explore Austin.
