Welcome to Cool Campervan Hire Scotland we are a small family business located close to the Stirling area which is in Central Scotland, if not the heart of the country and the gateway to the Highlands. We have a beautiful fleet of new and late model 4 berth VW campers and larger camper-vans & motor homes that will take you around our beautiful country and further afield if you desire, we make it very easy to get to us with collection points In Stirling our head office, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Prestwick airports, also very easy to get directly to us with your own transport or by train to collect your camper for the start of your holiday. Gordon who looks after the running of our company will advise and guide you to what you will need for your trip but all our campers will come with heating, kettle, cutlery, crockery, pans, running water and small cleaning pack and much more as standard, you will also find that as we are a small business with a big Scottish heart that our prices are great value for for such high spec campers and motorhomes to see our beautiful country in Northern Europe . All our vans are fully insured, clean and valeted with high spec and come with recovery. The larger campers will come with WC and hot water shower and most of all easy and fun to drive. Your holiday starts when collecting your camper if the excitement doesn't get you before. If you love taking your favourite pet on holiday with you then you will be happy to hear that we offer this pet friendly service, all we would like you to do is contact us before booking so that we can accommodate your extended family. We did have an issue with the propane tanks. We paid for 2 tanks, the connected tank was empty. There may have been a leak? We had to do our 3 week trip with one tank. The availability of propane was good but not for the tanks we had. The tank that fit our van has been discontinued. There was always the risk we would run out so we had to change our menu and as a result ate out more than we had intended. I would use you again but would get more clarity on drop off and pick up times and get a van with the new propane tank size. We were under the impression that we would be picked up in a reasonable time on arrival to Edinburgh. We had to wait too long (2.5hrs at least) when we had arranged for early pick up. Drop off at the end of our trip was 10 am. We had to wait over an hour.
