This company is a scam. Please do not use this company for any part of your trip. From the start there was nothing but issues, the most egregious being doubling the cost of the rental right before our trip was to start. Read the online reviews and BBB, this is how they operate. They changed my pick up location from right down the street to almost an 80 mile round trip, kinda east into that “free 100 miles”. My rental was $295 a day, which on a 4 day rental somehow came out to a flat $1900 a day out from picking up the RV. Not one person at this company can explain that one, but have sent 2 emails saying “they’re looking into it”.

i will never rent from this place again, i tried to rent to vans, last minute the owner sells one of them ans then i'm ;eft scrambled to find another. the quality of the van was horrible, warning lights on in the dash, the spare tire sitting in cargo area whew our luggage was supposed to go. very inconvenient, Then we get the invoice we spent more on taxes and fee and detailing that we were charged for added up to more than double the cost. i feel completely ripped off, a few passengers were going rent from outdoorsy for their other trips. but after this they will definitely go somewhere else. i will never use this place again and will tell people not to use them. Not worth it

Everything about the experience was amazing! There was even more room for storage in the unit than we anticipated. The views from the captains chairs were outstanding and comfortable. The induction hotplate, oven/microwave unit, and small grill made getting a meal on the table a breeze after long days of hiking and biking. Everything in the unit worked as expected, and when we encountered a question, the owner was right there with assistance. We will travel this way again soon!

Having rented an older unit there were several things that didn’t function quite as they should. For the cost of this kind of rental we would have expected more of the features to work. We still had a good trip but would probably look for either a newer unit next time or something more affordable.

Owner was great. Good intro to unit. Advised that the frig would drain battery in 1-2 days. We got a solid 3+ days off the battery. Only frig running. Lites and water pump very very infrequent. We were camped at nat’l forest.

My husband and I rented this camper van for a trip up to Lake Superior. This was our second time renting from Outdoorsy, the first experience having gone really well. Overall we had a great experience this time as well and the camper van met all our needs. It was comfy to drive and be in, tons of storage and almost everything worked well. However, the major issue we had was the whole check out process. Our 'fleet manager' was unable to be there to check us out and the substitute was unaware (and miffed herself ) that she was doing a check out with us. She was uninformed. Any unit that is greater than 15 yrs old would have certain quirks and it would have been great to know about them beforehand. I would imagine anyone owning a vehicle such as this would want to make sure the renter knows all these idiosyncrasies so that their trip goes as smooth as possible. Our septic system would not drain properly, had a clog and the 'macerator' button would not work. It eventually did work (battery button needed to be turned off/on a few times, who knew?) but we had to repair the hose. We were also informed at check out that the gauges did not work properly. This became a problem at check in when even though we emptied EVERYTHING from the septic tank, we were charged and when I reached out to the owner, he never responded. Again, maybe if the gauges worked, it wouldn't have been a problem. A few other things could also be repaired-curtains that were held together with clothes pins, table covering with large rip in it, side door that gets stuck when opening and closing it. Hopefully the next renters check on all these things first.

Rented the Class B motor home to see if it would be something we would like to own. Have had experience with two travel trailers in the past. The unit was easy to drive but we were disappointed in the interior space. Our two main criteria were a comfortable bed and a useable toilet and shower. It really did not satisfy either. Our trip to the north shore was wonderful but for the cost of the rental we could have stayed in very nice accommodations. Jason was very helpful in resolving any issues that we had.

We were excited to escape the Phoenix heat to the cool mountains. This van was like BRAND NEW! It was so clean and GREAT on gas - even with our current gas prices. We enjoyed our windshield time - seeing the grand views during the driving days and the stars at night from our cozy bed at night. We enjoyed our hot showers - and made many memorable camp meals. We were very comfortable, and had an amazing adventure! We are plotting our next adventure... Thanks- to the team at RVthereYet
