I just returned home after a trip from Bozeman, MT to Las Vegas, NV in a Blacksford camper. What an amazing way to travel. Blacksford sets you up with everything g you could possibly need. Their full service begins with the ease of reservations/communication, pick up and delivery of a clean, well equipped, beautiful camper. Knowing the camper is in tip top shape, and well maintained, makes life on the road peaceful enjoyable.

Pick up in Bozeman was great. Morgan was very knowledgeable and helpful with getting us on our way in the RV.
Cleanliness of the RV was subpar. We have rented from Blacksford two previous times and felt the RV's were clean and ready to go. This unfortunately was not our experience this time. The front windshield had many layers of bugs and dirt. Many areas of the inside of the RV had smudges, crumbs(cheezits), stains on one of the sheets resembling blood or coffee and little wiping down of surfaces had been performed. In addition, both sets of rear tires were low on air and needed air added before leaving the facility.
We understand this was end of season and we were providing a one way rental for Blacksford. However, we felt the standard of cleanliness we are use to from Blacksford wasn't met with this rental.

Robert - I am sorry to hear that we fell below our usual very high standards. I know this was "free" rental to move an RV at the end of the Bozeman season to Seattle but it is still not acceptable. Please accept our apologies and know that this is highly unusual -- we like to take care of our free re-location rentals at the same high level as our valued paid customers. An Unforgettable 10-Day Adventure — Blacksford Exceeded Every Expectation!
What an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! We rented a Winnebago Solis PX for an incredible 10-day road trip from Bozeman, Montana, to Seattle, Washington, and we truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Blacksford and their exceptional team!
As first-time RV renters, we weren't quite sure what to expect, but from the moment we arrived in Bozeman, Cindy made the entire process a breeze! She whisked us through the paperwork before giving us a thorough, top-to-bottom walkthrough of our Solis PX. Her knowledge, patience, and attention to detail left us feeling completely confident and ready to hit the road. We were pleasantly surprised by just how easy everything was to operate!
Once our orientation was complete, Cindy gave us time to unpack and settle in, then graciously invited us to browse their "Hiker's Pantry" for any supplies we might find useful along the way. Such a thoughtful touch! We grabbed a few bits and bobs that ended up coming in incredibly handy during our adventure!
Our Solis PX was in excellent condition, beautifully maintained, and an absolute joy to travel in. We enjoyed ten spectacular days exploring the American West, and everything went remarkably smoothly until our final nights in Washington, when we discovered a screw lodged in one of the rear tires.
We contacted Blacksford's roadside assistance and notified both Cindy in Bozeman and Miranda at our Seattle drop-off location. Both ladies were incredibly responsive, reassuring, and helpful! Fortunately, we were near a tire shop where the technicians removed the screw, inspected the tire, and reinflated it. Thankfully, the screw hadn't penetrated the rubber, and they didn't even charge us! Crisis averted!
When we arrived in Seattle, Miranda was every bit as wonderful as Cindy! She made the return process effortless, took the time to show us a few other RVs in their fleet, and even drove us to the airport. Talk about going above and beyond!
What truly sets Blacksford apart isn't just the outstanding condition of their vehicles, but the genuinely warm, knowledgeable, and stellar customer service we experienced at BOTH ends of our journey. From our very first RV orientation to our final airport drop-off, we felt completely taken care of.

We had an excellent experience renting a camper van from Blacksford! Our contact Kyle was fantastic. His communication both before, during and after the trip was top notch. He was flexible and responsive. If we had any questions he responded quickly and was very kind. He had zero problems on our 10 day trip. We really didn’t need anything. They provided all the basics.
The van was comfortable and worked really well for two adults and 1 child. At first I was hesitant comparing the price to other by owner rentals but with the unlimited milage it was a no brainer. Blacksford was the much better deal all around. Having solar and a generator allowed us to boondock a few times along the way. Would totally recommend this company and would definitely rent from them again!

We hear from so many people -- and now from you -- that when they add in mileage fees, stocking fees, generator fees, etc., that Blacksford is equal in price and way way better in quality and service. And we have 24/7 local on-trip customer support, in-person orientations, fully-stocked RVs and unlimited mileage and generator usage on our NEW RVs and camper vans! We are do glad you enjoyed camping with two adults and a child -- the Winnebago Solis PX (Pop Top) is great for flexibility, small groups/families but also super comfortable. Traveling in a Camper Van was a unique experience! The journey, exploring the Pacific Northwest Coastal and the Redwoods, was an adventure that we will never forget and one that we feel everyone should do. Our country is Beautiful! It was a lot of traveling and the camper van was a perfect size and transportation tool to do it all. Having our food, personal belongings, kitchen sink & stove, comfortable bed, bathroom and an easy mode of transportation to get from place to place conveniently, made our trip an amazing adventure. The camper van was extremely powerful, handling the steep mountainous, narrow and curvy drive with ease. We traveled about 1,610 miles in the camper van, departing from Seattle, driving the coast south as far as the Redwoods in California and returning north mostly along I-5, back to Blacksford. The Winnebago Solis PX was a powerful engine and handled the road well. With regard to gas mileage, It averaged about...17 miles to the gallon for the whole trip.
Comfort wise, most of the Solis is extremely comfortable, especially the bed. It has a Murphy bed, which we only kept it down in place as a bed, never raising it at all. It was just what we needed. Blacksford is great too, in that they provided our bedding, pillows, our bath towels, kitchen supplies, dishes and more. We only had to buy our food and a few personal items. The 2-burner stove worked well and we managed without an oven or microwave, although one or the other would have been nice. The refrigerator is tiny, but we improvised and managed just fine. It mainly meant a couple extra stops at the grocery store. We even enjoyed the truck seats that turn around to face our tiny dining area...it became a nice hang out. As for the bathroom....tiny, tiny. We only used it for middle of the night and very early morning personal needs. Otherwise it was a great place to hang towels, my toiletry bag and some laundry. We used the campground facilities for showers and more. There was plenty of storage in the Solis, handling our shoes, suitcases, jackets, paper goods and more. Now, funny story, the Solis was great, but we will never, ever forget about the 'constant bumping of our head' on the cabinets, molding, archway, getting in and out of bed, moving from dining area to truck, reaching for kitchen supplies and more. At first it was annoying, and we thought...we will learn, but we did not. The Solis is so tiny that we just kept bumping our head and eventually just started laughing about it. I do think it will be the one thing we will never forget about traveling in a camper van. Oh, and that we kind of think....we may be too old...climbing up into bed each time was a real challenge...at our age. Hahahaha. We totally loved this camper van otherwise. It truly allowed us to see and do so much more than we might have, had we just been staying in a hotel here and there. This really got us outdoors into nature and close to all the beautiful parts of our country. We are both so grateful for this camper van experience.

Donald - it's rare that a review makes me laugh out loud but yours just did! I love the Solis PX. but I totally get that there is a trade-off with size, maneuverability and amenities. Your bumping your head story was highly amusing. My husband and I took one around Utah in June but didn't bump our heads -- maybe next year! Your trip sounds long and amazing. Our unlimited mileage came in quite handy, no doubt! Many customers prefer the nice campground bath houses with the smaller RVs but it's possible to use the wet bath only. We hope you will consider renting from us again to experience the great outdoors in comfort. We do offer larger RVs (with larger bathrooms, larger fridges, microwaves, and lower beds) that have a little more space at all of our four locations -- Phoenix, Las Vegas, Bozeman-Yellowstone and Seattle. Same great service everywhere. Think about it! Many thanks for this lovely and very entertaining review!

Renting from Blacksford was such a pleasant experience. They were super proactive with communication and super friendly upon arrival. All the amenities were sterilized and packaged (linens, utensils, etc.). Staff was super helpful and informative regarding the vehicle and providing a comprehensive overview. I was very pleased with my experience and would absolutely use them again.

Communication was great!! 1st night we had issues with our stove. Luckily we were still 30 mins away to the Blacksford pick up place as they set us up with plenty of propane cartriges and a stove. Our built in stove still had some problems but all is well because Cindee & Jeff were there to get us back on the road. We traveled with the 2027 Winnebago Solis up to Banff to Glacier for 13 days. Easy to drive and park pretty. Bathroom was small but manageble. Plenty of space for 2 people. The pop-up top was easy to set up and put back down. A little cool up there and noises are much louder than the inside bed. Very comfortable mattresses. We were given everything possible to make our trip comfortable. Cindee was absolutely wonderful to us when we had stove problems. She knew we couldn't make coffee the morning the stove wouldn't work.and she made it right by not only providing us a extra stove but also a table and THEN she took us to the best coffee house and she bought us coffee and scones. Unbelievable customer service above and beyond the call of duty. We thank you Cindee❤️

We had a great experience renting from Blacksford RV! They were super helpful from start to finish, communication was great, and they took the time to show us how everything in the motorhome works. They were always attentive whenever we had a question. The RV itself was excellent, super comfortable, everything worked perfectly, and it was spotless and felt brand new. I highly recommend them and we will book all our future trips with them!

Morgan did a great job explaining everything. The van was great for traveling about Glacier, Yellowstone and the Tetons. Easy to park and convenient for making a quick lunch before heading out on the trail. We had one issue with the water, and Blacksford was very responsive, sending out a tech within the day.
