Doug let me know that he has Covid on the day of the trip. I had reservations at a campground with other people and was really planning on going, so I decided to proceed with the trip. I asked if he could wear a mask while he was going over the RV with me…he told me it was going to be hot out and didn’t really want to. He ended up wearing a mask that I provided. When I got there I realized that the RV hadn’t been cleaned from the prior use and the black tank also was not completely empty. I again agreed because I had plans and would just clean it myself. After I got it home though, I realized that it was REALLY DIRTY and it took me an hour and a half to clean which I didn’t anticipate. I had asked Doug if he would waive the cleaning fee, and he refused. He probably told me 20 times that he didn’t like to rent out his RV and it was more of a pain for him. I contacted OUTDOORSY to see about the cleaning fee and put in a dispute on the cleaning charge. When I returned the RV, Doug was livid and again told me that he didn’t have to rent out his RV and I knew he had Covid. I just didn’t want to pay the cleaning fee since I had to clean it. I returned it cleaner than when I took it. The black tank didn’t empty properly and he also was upset with that although it hadn’t been empty when I initially took it. I have rented with OUTDOORSY before and had a good experience, so this was really disappointing to deal with Doug. He made it really clear that I was an inconvenience to him and I would think maybe he needs to just stop renting the RV if he hates it so much.

Doug seemed to know next to nothing about his camper. He could not answer basic questions such as how big the water tank was or the holding tanks. All he would say was small. When I went to pick up the camper, he was filling the water tank for us but had no clue that the valve was open and all the water we thought we would have for our trip was gone when we got the camper set up on arrival. So we camped for 5 days with no water in the tank. When I mentioned it to him upon returning the camper he just looked at me as if he had no clue what I was talking about. The batteries were not charged when we picked it up. The black holding tank showed as full indicating it had not been emptied prior to our rental. Again, he just looked at me. Then he checked over the camper to see if he needed to mention anything to hold us responsible for and he looked in the sink that was covered by the cutting board and complained that a stopper was missing. Neither one of us-Dough nor myself-looked in the sink before leaving his residence. Since we had no water, we never used the sink so had no idea the stopper was missing. The beds were standard issue with the camper and so flat that it seemed we were sleeping on the board rather than any kind of padding. Overall not an experience that I would want to repeat. Nor would I recommend this camper for anyone else to use.

Super Clean! Great working with Doug. As other reviews stated the mattress on the bed is very thin.

Doug is a nice guy and easy to work with. The RV was as described with no surprises. We didn’t use it for a vacation. Just needed some extra space for an unexpected family Visit.

Doug was very thorough with his walk through, which is good if you are a first time renter. Unfortunately the King size bed was a pretty thin mattress- so bring an extra pad/layer for comfort. Overall was nice and clean. He also had it stocked with cooking/prep supplies. Tanks are on the smaller end.
