Overall a good camper van. The engine has been very reliable (for more than 2k kilometers) and the bed was comfy. It was really an awesome experience. Traveling in a van is surely the best way to experience Alberta!As for the owner, Amanda, she did answer when we asked questions, but we kind of felt that we were bothering her, as she was a bit dry in her answers. To learn how to use the van, she referred us a lot to a manual she wrote and videos she made, but it wasn't always super clear for newcomers in the van world like us. We were surprised when she told us that we wouldn't meet her at all, but she arrived just before we left (although she wasn't there when we brought back the van).

Hi Guillaume. I appreciate you’re feedback. We are always looking how to make our rentals better.I had asked if you wanted an early pick up. I was only able to sort you out with a non-contact pick up to make this work for you- this is a system put in place by outdoory which my renters often find very convenient for them. I’m curious which things you had issues with in the van? I had gone over everything while showing you the van and am always happy to help my renters while they are on their journeys. My renters often find it really helpful that I have videos explaining how everything works since sometimes they forget after one showing.

Rhonda made my first campervan road trip absolutely amazing. She was fully equipped with everything I needed for my adventures. She was an absolute beast with the mountainous roads, super reliable and very easy to drive. I loved her feature of two gas tanks so i never worried too much about running out of gas! We had quite the adventure and I have walked away with unforgettable memories. Thanks again Amanda !

This van is perfect!
Everyone needs to spend a little time in Ronda! She runs great and she’s clean and cozy! She’s been truckin since the 80’s and still truckin strong!
Amanda is an amazing and very caring host! She genuinely cares about the quality of your stay and takes great effort in making sure that ronda is clean. We saw her sanitize, vacuum and wash every inch of ronda before handing it over.
This was a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to be in ronda again!

Overall experience was good. Contact with owner and her assistant to help with the pickup/drop off was excellent. Mechanically ran well. Some issues with the fridge initially as 12 volt not working, but propane connection and electrical plug in no problem. Sufficient room in fridge and great head room in van. Although has a shower we never used it as it does not drain into a tank. Drains into the ground. Apparently this is par for the course w these vans, but would make a mess on sandy ground. Needs some cosmetic touches, but otherwise in good shape. Given it is a 40 year old van you have to expect some deficiencies. We did get used to the old girl after 11 nights. This is great for 2 people only as need the top bunk for storage.

I really enjoyed my camping trip with Rhonda! First time not camping in a tent and can say I’m now a full convert to the camper van experience. It was great to have a stovetop, running water, a fridge & portable toilet- felt really luxurious compared to tenting it! Amanda was great to deal with- hope to be able to take Rhonda out again this summer. :)

Overall, we had a fun trip with this camper van, but there were also things that I think we could have been better prepared for before renting.Here are some things we liked about the experience:
- Amanda was super responsive and communicative. When we came across any hiccups, she responded within minutes!
- Once we got the hang of it, the van was really fun to drive. It's the perfect size and doesn't feel overwhelming to maneuver
- We loved the flexibility it gave us to travel in a camper van and how nice it was to have our "home" so close
- As a party of 2, this van was really spacious and gave us a ton of room for our things in storage.
- It was easy to keep the van insulated on chillier nights or open up the windows and ceiling hatch to bring in some airHere are some things things we didn't like:
- I wish there was more information on the drop off requirements before booking. Emptying the septic, filling the tank up with water, and refilling the propane were a bit confusing and time consuming, especially for newbies to RV life. With an 11am return time and travel time in the morning, it seems really undoable. Realizing we wouldn’t have time to do this before dropping it off, we paid the late fee ($50) and dropped off at 2:30pm, but in retrospect I wish I had gotten back at 11am and paid for those things to be taken care of instead (I think its an $80 charge) especially given that you pay around $30 to do those things anyways.
- Getting used to the van takes some time and we ran into some problems getting the fridge cold and the water hot - both take a long time, so prepare for that.
- We got the guide for the camper van the night before we left which added some stress to our departure. There was a lot to read through and watch, so I wish I had seen it earlier.
- It is expensive to fill this van's tank! We were surprised when we put $50 in and it didn't even fill half of the tank. I didn’t expect the same mileage as a new car, but not having driven a car like this before, it would have been nice to factor this into the budget before booking.
- The couch pulls out into a bed. It is fairly comfortable but the car seat buckles are challenging to tuck away to make it easy to sleep on.
