Memories made on trips with Jennifer Macias's RVs

Hosts were nice and friendly but we had a couple issues. The battery connector wasn’t working so we couldn’t use the lights. We blew a tire on the way home and they had no proper tools to change it, luckily a nice stranger pulled over and helped us. We communicated the whole time with them what was going on. When we dropped off the camper they told us the tire was still under warranty and it was no big deal. We showed them what side the tire blew, and it had ripped the fender off, which we had no idea about. They didn’t mention anything to us about the fender when we dropped it off, even after showing them the damage the tire did. We were under the impression that everything was good when we dropped it off, we didn’t put up a fuss about the blown tire or battery not working. But then they filed a damage claim against us for the tire and fender, which was completely out of our control. We didn’t stay in a campground where we could have possibly run over anything, and we were on the highway when it happened. I would have given them a 4-5 star rating even after everything cause they seemed super nice and chill about it all but not after they filed a claim against us.

Good morning! I would like to reach out and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. By signing the rental contract you agreed to accept any damage claims done to the RV via your insurance carrier & outdoorsy while in your care. The nut on the battery came loose during your travels and was inside the battery box along with a wrench to place the nut back on which went untouched when you returned it. You were also given an outdoorsy rental insurance card for road side assistance which you chose not to use during the tire blow out. As hosts we can only provide you with so much information regarding the RV, once it leaves our property the responsibility lands on the renters. Thank you for renting with us.
