Our family would like to introduce our Cougar Keystone travel trailer. We have fond memories as little women camping with the family. We take pride in ownership and offer the cleanest experience possible. We love the awning in the rain! The double doors to sneak into your private bedroom after the kids are sleeping! Outdoor kitchen.. and lots of space in the storage area.

It was awful! Upon arrival we were told the fridge did not work on propane and we were dry camping for five days. We had no choice but to take the unit anyway. Once we got to our location, we had power supply issues. We spent a day trying to figure out what was wrong and trying to fix the fridge as well as the power supply issues. When we contacted the owner, he had to walk us through a process where we had to crawl inside a very tiny storage place to reset an inverter that malfunctions. Due to this, we were unable to use air conditioning as it continued to trip the inverter. Our generator had to run almost nonstop despite Regulations at where we were camping because we needed to keep our food cold. Even with all of this at one point, we lost power to everything and still could not diagnose what was happening and we lost over $100 worth of food. We also had safety issues when it came to the hot water tank igniting and sending flames shooting out the side of the trailer into the back of one of our guests head, singing his hair. We also discovered that the breakaway brakes do not function, and we were driving a trailer that was unsafe and illegal. We spoke to the owner in person and came to an understanding for a partial refund however, when it came time to process this through Outdoorsy, the owner refused, called us scammers and we are now going through arbitration. Do not rent from David Widen.

Upon pick up I was told the fridge only works on power. So I had no fridge for the entire 1 week trip, as I didn't have power. The toilet seal was gone, so there was water on the floor of the bathroom as soon as I turned the water pump on. So I had no water for my entire trip, as I had to keep the pump off. When I returned the trailer, he said he had another renter leaving right away. So, the next guy was going to have the same fun as I did, as he had no intention of fixing anything, even though I asked him if he was. Very disappointing. Also, he has charged me the damage deposit and not returned it, I basically had a hard shelled tent for 1 week. Don't rent from him. I hope the rest of the trailers on Outdoorsy are better than this.

It was great had everything you would need for the trip and very spacious and the owner was amazing answered right away if we had any questions.
