We had to unfortunately cut our trip short and returned the rv after 24 hours due to the refrigerator not working. Once we returned the rv we were informed it takes 24 hours to cool which we weren't told. When picking up the rv the owners told us we cant run the generator when its above 90 degrees which is impossible in Az summer so we were relying on the outlets to plug in fans to keep us cool but found out the inverter wasnt working so we had to use the generator in order for the outlets to work. We had to put all of our stuff inside because we couldn't use the big outside storage. Nice couple but the listing description really needs to be updated to reflect the current state of the rv. The inside does need some help, the couches are torn and the table is covered in tape. The door handle to the fridge did get broken but it was extremely lose and the owners say it happens alot. It was hard to enjoy the trip stressing about what could happen next. So just be aware before you book it.

We have a family of 4 and spent the weekend camping at lake pleasant and had a wonderful time and no issues with the RV. Everything was easy to set up and break down. We felt comfortable in it!

The first communication with Sara was very pleasant. She seemed like a professional and courteous person. At the pick everything went well. Sara did say the first renter broke the lock on the door and it was quite a difficult challenge to open the door. Other than that the camper seemed fine and Sara didn’t mention any issues with it. The propane tank was empty when we picked up the camper so we filled that up. You would think out of courtesy the owner should turn on the fridge but I guess even if they wanted to they couldn’t since there was no propane. During our trip we figured out that oven wasn’t working. Even the water in the sink wasn’t draining properly. According to Sara’s listing description, she provides 2 rolls of toilet paper and 2 trash bags. Unfortunately none of this was supplied. There were no trash bags and the only toilet paper present was less than a quarter roll. So today is Wednesday (three days after dropping off the camper) I received a message saying that the food we cooked in the camper made her linens smell and now she needs to replace them. All we cooked inside was tea, coffee and eggs. The only spices we used were salt and black pepper. Frankly majority of our cooking was done outside on our property where we barbecued our meals and ate outside. We didn’t even eat in the camper. I can understand that from our clothing one can obviously see that we are foreigners. However it is racist and rude to assume that we used a bunch of spices when cooking that it caused such a disturbing smell. I guess Sara doesn’t know how to wash the linens. I mean after all isn’t she supposed to wash the linens after each rental. Instead she robbed me of my security deposit of $500! She even did not have linens there for $500. So do yourself a favor and rent a camper from an honest person who will not steal your hard earned money.
