We rented Wilson for a last minute trip to Pinnacles national park and we had a great experience! Without having a camping spot reserved it was great to have the option to find a spot to park overnight and sleep without having to set up a tent.Wilson is compact but very spacious! We couldn’t believe it could fit a proper size bed and leave enough room for storage (we were traveling with a medium sized duffle bag and two backpacks, plus some miscellaneous other small stuff). The bed was really easy to set up. Took us 5-10 minutes to completely set up for sleep, in the dark! Would also work great for a solo traveler. And I can say it was the best sleep I’ve ever had in a small home on wheels! The mattress is really comfortable and the van comes with all the necessary bedding. The window covers obscure light really well, and offer all the necessary privacy. We parked under a tree so it’s unfortunate we couldn’t take advantage of the moon roof for star gazing..The plastic bins are a treasure trove! It shows that the owner has spent a lot of time car camping! You pretty much get a fully equipped kitchen with camping stoves, camping pots/pans, and all the necessary tools to cook and eat meals. The trunk opens in such a way that allows you to cook tailgating style. The mini fridge works great! It kept our beer cool while the car was parked in the scorching sun while we hiked for a few hours!Marco was really helpful and gave us all the tips and tricks to make sure we had the smoothest experience! I only wish we had more time to extend our trip for a couple more nights! Will definitely rent again!
