About John's RV rentals
We are a busy family of 3 daughters, 3 dogs, and 1 cat. I am an Outside Sales professional and volunteer firefighter. She is an office manager at a local Fargo business. We enjoy our time grilling in the backyard and/or just hanging out at the fire pit with our neighbors. And we love to travel! Whether it's a quick 3-day weekend campsite or all the way across the country for longer vacations, we love to load up the camper and hit the road. We invite you to hitch up to our camper and enjoy traveling as much as we do!

Very disappointed in this rental, when picking up the camper we noticed the camper had to be plugged in order to slide the slide or use the jack. Just thinking the battery had to charge. After a couple days of camping the battery was shot and wouldn’t take a charge. When we got to our camp spot the camper stunk of sewer gas from the bathroom. We had to run the ceiling vent fan the whole week to keep the camper from smelling. I smelt the sink and shower drains and the smell was coming from around the base of the toilet. We also towed the the camper 270 miles the pickup connection dinged at us every 20 seconds. I got out multiple times and adjusted the connection. It didn’t help. When I got home we pulled it to the renters with our second pickup. Same problem. While trying to jack the camper up from the pickup the battery was struggling. My son wiggled the plug that was wrapped in electrical tape and it took off. Renter had tried to fix the plug and done a poor job. After two days of camping the black water showed 2/3 full. We had only peeped in it for two days. But we called a dump service and had it professionally pumped in our spot. After dumping the gage still read 2/3, no big deal sometimes paper can get caught up on the gage. We used the toilet, pee only for eight more days and the gage stayed at 2/3. I emptied the black tank, it drained for about five minutes, then rinsed the line with grey water. The gage still read 2/3. So when I returned the camper he mentioned the 2/3 tank and I explained the issue. Then later I see we got charged for emptying the tank. I called him, he said he flushed the tank and noticed black water and toilet paper. I told him I dumped it until it stopped running and done know what else I could have done? He said he understood but is still going to charge me the $100 dump fee??? I owned a camper for ten years but sold it after the kids lost interest in camping. It all ended with a argument. With him take no responsibility for any of camper issues I am forced to post this very negative review. Renters beware…

Our Camping weekend with our Family was great thanks to the beautiful RV we rented from hosts Bree & John. The temperatures were extreme, but we were able to play in the water all day and sleep comfortably at night. Thanks again!

The camper was clean and ready to go. The pickup and drop off times where very flexible. This rental made our family vacation go very smoothly with a very nice camper with all the things you could need!
