• Although the owners of this RV were nice and very responsive throughout our camping trip we experienced a ton of different issues and it is my belief that this RV should not be available for rent OR only rented if you have a power/ water serviced site.• Upon picking up the trailer my husband met the owners at the storage facility but then had to wait for over 45 minutes as the owners arrived but they had to go buy a pin for the RV.
• There was no type of user manual, labeling inside the RV or instructions inside the RV. Thankfully, we had cell phone service so I was able to call and text the owner; however, we would have been very lost without being able to contact them.
• We did not have a power/ water serviced site so we brought a generator with us. Although I did confirm with the owner that we were bringing a generator and that they would be providing an extension cord, when we took the extension cord out of the storage area in the RV the cord was clean cut in half and inoperable. This was clearly something the owners did not check prior to us picking up the RV. Thankfully the RV had the built in power cord and adapter however, the built in power cord was only about 25ft and thus, had to be extremely close to the trailer which resulted in a lot of noise AND exhaust fumes extremely close to where we were sleeping, eating, cooking, hanging out, etc.
• Note, any appliance or electronics that use 120v outlets require to be directly plugged in to service at the site OR require the generator running; this was not something that was relayed to us prior to picking up the RV.
• Although the RV has batteries, the only way the A/C works is if you're running the generator and even with us using the generator to cool the camper down before our baby went to sleep, it completely drained the batteries for the RV for the entire weekend and even when we ran the generator WITHOUT the A/C, specifically just to charge the batteries, the batteries did not charge at all.
• As an FYI, there are only two camping chairs provided, even though the RV sleeps 6.
• The propane grill provided was filthy, we didn't end up using it and just cooked over the campfire.
• The dishes, pots, pans were all dirty and in a bit of rough shape. We had to wash everything prior to using them and the non-stick pans were quite scratched up.
• We filled up the water tank when we arrived at the campsite and after getting everything setup, cooking dinner and only washing a few dishes the fresh water tank was down to 1/3 full and we ended up running out of fresh water the next morning. After we returned the RV the owner reached out asking if we had emptied the grey water/ sewer tanks and I said yes we did (even though we didn't use the toilet or shower once as we had no water) and the owner said "great thank you, the gauges don't always work properly." Thus, I believe that the fresh water gauge likely didn't work properly and unfortunately we didn't actually fill up the tank fully because the gauge wasn't working properly.
• When we first turned on the water we also had to let it run for a while as it smelled very odd and had a soapy like texture; likely chemicals in the tank to clean the water but we couldn't cook or wash dishes with this water because of the texture and smell so this also didn't help for conserving water.
• All in all, because of the abovementioned, we ended up cutting our trip short by one day and coming home early. I have reached out to Outdoorsy for hopefully a refund but have not heard back at this time.
