We rented the RV for time in the Redwoods, including a music festival; it was our first time doing the Campervan thing, and it worked out great. The process wasn't quite as refined as say AirBnB, but there was never confusion as to what needed to happen.

Host wasn't there when we picked up (camper locks magically unlocked when we got there) so there was no going over the ins and outs of the camper. It was extremely dirty. I had to wash all of the dishes before use which included buying dish soap. It clearly had not been cleaned as the car mats were full of dirt. I don't even want to know if the bedding had been washed. Could never figure out how to get hot water or fill the water tank, followed the instructions in the camper manual to no avail. I have owned campers so I don't feel it was user error. Ended up buying some kitchen utensils as it was hard to make anything without a spatula.

FURTHUR’s answer

The van was freshly detailed for Randy's trip as evidenced by the pre-trip photos. Accommodations were made to allow pick up outside of the designated window and the van was remotely unlocked as mutually agreed upon. Randy's "issues" mysteriously arose when he learned that grossly exceeding the mileage allotment specified in the rental contract would result in a deduction from the security deposit. Unfortunately, a case of sour grapes and retaliatory feedback...

Easy Breezy! I opted to take a cab from the airport to pick up my van. When I arrived I was immediately greeted for a tour and tutorial. The van was stocked with everything I needed, including Apple wires for my phone, paper towels, bed linens, and kitchenware. The van drove great & the bed was comfy (surprised me!) Drop off was as simple as pickup, and the host communicated immediately with any questions.
I'm ready to plan Southern Cali now!

This is an awesome campervan! It drives well, is super compact and efficient inside and came with beach stickers for the Cape. Communication with the host was responsive and uncomplicated. Will definitely use again, so fun!

Great rig, perfect for our getaway in northwest VT. The van was super clean, easy to drive and very comfortable. Dan is also very responsive with communications so all questions we had were answered super quick.

Easy pick-up, walked through systems. "Further" came with access to the beach. Easy to drive, maneuver, park. Very comfortable bed. Having 110v, fans, comfy bed was a plus for a weekend on the Cape.

This van was wonderful - had all of the necessities, a super comfortable bed, awesome water/AC/heat, and super easy communication with the host.
