About Dana Stein

I bought Ruby during the shut downs and have enjoyed her tremendously and keep her pristine. She is super fun and has all the comforts you will need for a great trip! Please contact me as I look forward to working with you to help you plan your adventure! I have lived in San Diego since 1984 with the exception of college in San Francisco and three years in Colombia, South America. Hablo Espanol. 💃🏼😀 I am a nomad at heart and have traveled to many places in the world. On my bucket list is to one day drive the Pan American highway down to the tip of South America. Note that the pick up location for Ruby is in Carmel Valley/Del Mar area of San Diego.

Riding Ruby was a fantastic experience, and Dana was the perfect host. She was a great support with road-tripping tips and hacks, and details for our children at our arrival.
We enjoyed ten nights visiting California, Nevada and Arizona.  The van is comfortable for two adults and two children. It is in great maintenance and hygiene. And Dana takes her time for a detailed explanation on how to use every feature inside, and offers complimentaries like cleaning and cooking supplies. Ruby´s model and red color received many compliments all over our trip!
City, beach, forest and desert, Ruby was a great choice for our first experience in van-holidays.

This was my husband and mine’s and very first experience RV camping together, and Ruby was just perfect for us! Dana, our host, made everything so easy, from check-in to the walk through to check-out. Her attention to detail with keeping Ruby pristine and accessible really helped add to such a fun experience. Easy and comfortable to drive (and be a passenger!). We really felt at home and loved that Dana included everything that we needed to cook and clean with, as well as camp chairs and a table to relax outside while we ate dinner and had a beverage. We would definitely rent a Ruby again!

This is the 8th time we've rented an RV and it has been the best experience so far!
Ruby is a beautiful RV, immaculately maintained with obvious love by her owner, Dana. Easy to drive with all the needed amenities, it's a wonderful vehicle.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip in Ruby! As first time RV/ camper van drivers, we really appreciated the great job that Dana did showing us all her van’s features and giving us tips. Ruby was easy to drive and very comfortable to live in. We stayed on the CA coast (Crystal Cove SP), in Joshua Tree NP and in Idyllwild, CA. Thank you, Dana, for a wonderful first “vanlife” experience!

We had the best time with Ruby! Dana was such an amazing host! She had everything you could possibly think of in the van. Like cleaning supplies, all the utensils you need to cook and she even had portable fans you can place anywhere that helped us sleep so well at night! The van was very clean and surprisingly very easy to drive. It was perfect for us family of 3. Can’t wait to rent Ruby again!

My Girlfriend, Son and I rented Ruby for our trip up to the eastern sierras near bishop creek! Little did my girlfriend know this trip would be for an engagement proposal! We drove up to the Sierras via the 395 and Ruby was a dream to drive. All the amenities on board made the trip a breeze traveling with our 11 month old baby. We will remember this trip and Ruby forever. Dana’s communication, flexibility, and service made everything as easy as can be!

Ruby was a great RV, and served my wife and two sons well on our 9 days and 8 nights exploring California. Our boys loved it, and honestly told us they missed Ruby the day after we got home.

Dana, the host, was gracious and accommodating. She was very courteous and answered all our questions and would even ask how the trip and Ruby, the van was going.
Will never have second thoughts on renting again from her.

Great time. Clean van in excellent condition! Would rent again for sure! Dana was an excellent host, communicated well, and answered all questions. Our 2 children and we fit nicely in the van.
