Thanks Mark for being such a great host and a wonderful person to deal with. You gave us such a warm welcome on arrival from Australia. We had the most amazing trip in Canada and your RV played a significant part in that. I would recommend you as a host to any of my family or friends. Although this particular RV is a little older it functions exactly how it should with a couple of minor quirks that adds character and something to remember. My recommendation for maximum comfort (unlimited power & AC etc) would be to use powered sites where possible. Although off grid is very much possible with forward planning and generator use.

Mark goes out of his way to make sure you have what you need for an excellent time. There was an issue with the RV battery and he knew I was going to a campsite without a hookup so he set me up with a cool back up battery that included an inverter, so I had power and could even use the microwave.

We had so much fun on Mark’s camper van! My partner, small dog and I used it for a road trip to the Sunshine Coast. The van drives well and has the basic amenities to have a very comfortable ‘glamping’ experience. We always camp in tents and are no frills travellers, so being able to sleep in a comfortable mattress and having a small kitchen and sink felt luxurious to us! Mark has set up a solar panel system that powers a cooler/fridge and also provides lighting inside the van. This was super handy. Though, we did end up getting a low battery warning in the last couple of nights, meaning that our panels probably weren’t getting enough sunlight (and in turn the cooler powers off). We could have been more intentional about parking in direct sunlight to avoid this. He also provided a large battery that we used to charge our cellphones, portable fan and light, etc. This battery never ran out. There is enough storage under the bed for all your bags. We didn’t use the portable toilet since we had access to toilets in our campsites. If you’re an easy going traveler that doesn’t mind the quirks of an older van and is looking for a quaint, rustic experience, this is a great van for you!! If you are a super high maintenance traveler and are looking for something that is more like the convenience of an apartment, maybe not! For example, it has no A/C but we had no problem opening up windows and Mark has also set up a great vent/fan that brings cool air in. This van has charm and it was perfect for us. The van was very fun and easy to drive. Mark was great to deal with and we would definitely rent from him again.

Mark is helpful and wants to ensure all guests have a great time. The RV is older but still functional. If dry camping plan to get an electrical or battery genny as most parks have a time limit on gas generators. Add-ons were pricey compared to other rentals but still nice to have that option. I would rent from Mark again.

Mark a été sympathique lors du check-in et répondait rapidement. Par contre, le véhicule ne correspondait pas aux photos (notre VR se terminait par "34R") Il était accidenté à l'arrière, n'avait pas de auvent et l'état général dégradé. Nous en avons été averti la veille. Dès le 1er soir, la batterie ne tenait pas la nuit après 4h de route. Faire tourner le générateur pendant 1h30 a été sans effet. Le remplacement d'un fusible grillé au niveau de la batterie a été sans effet. Selon Mark, il en a toujours été ainsi !?? Nos 8 nuits sans branchement: Pas de lumière, eau, réfrigérateur, chauffage, utilisation de bouteilles pour les toilettes, réveil nocturne par le détecteur. Mark ne se remet pas en question. Aucun dédommagement.
Aussi, notre 1er lieu de campement empruntait une route sans asphalte. Mark nous a reproché de l'avoir prise (son GPS indiquait qu'il y avait des graviers) et a demandé un contrôle urgent des freins. Après contrôle chez Kal Tire, il s'avère que les disques auraient dû être changés lors du dernier remplacement des plaquettes (aucun problème lié à notre utilisation). Tout cela a malheureusement gâché une partie de nos vacances !

Looks like we can't please everyone. Despite of having many positive reviews , guests renting same unit multiple times during season, guests coming back over every year there are some not satisfied renters.
When this Family with two young girls come to pick Motorhome up, I was thinking what a nice Family.
Yes they were nice, however those are facts.
-customer requested generator, never paid for it, promised he will pay on the day of Motorhome pick up, and never did. After he refused to pay despite using it.
-customer requested barbecue, used it during whole trip, burn full bottle of propane and told me that barbecue doesn't work properly.
-They went on very steep, dangerous , white knuckle mountain road forgetting to inform me about it, and when I sent him messages that gravel roads driving is not permitted for safety of his Family he ignored my messages.
His frustration came mostly from not understanding how things work in Motorhome, things could be solved with quick message.

This is my 3rd time renting this unit. It’s perfectly set up and pick up and drop off are a breeze. Mark is an excellent host. Excellent communication, messages are answered almost immediately. RV had some damage from previous renters which was communicated to me in advance and did not impact operations or our comfort. I would complete recommend Mark’s rentals and Outdoorsy.

We had a really great time with the Campervan of Mark.
The Camper was all through reliable was despite putting serious miles on it. Mark has installed a solar system which worked perfect. Sometimes a little slower on cloudy days or in the night 🤪. So with the big batteries charged during daytime we could use his installed fridge. Everything really worked perfectly. There were some more electric goodies like a generator or vacuum cleaner or fan in the ceiling to make stiffi air move out.
The campervan is easy and relaxing to drive

Mark was an excellent host. He did a good orientation so we had no problems. The RV ran really well with enough power to go over the many mountain passes in BC. We slept 5 people in the RV. There were dishes, cutlery, etc. and a coffee maker. The fridge/freezer worked great. Overall it was a good experience.
