Renting the camper trailer from Tristan and Shawna was such a great experience. They had previous complaints of issues with some of the electrical equipment and we were nervous. When we arrived to pick up the camper, Tristan did a complete walk around and walk through and showed us all the ways to trouble shoot if there was issues. My wife and I had never rented or used a camper trailer and we were beyond thrilled to have such a great experience. The camper was easy to tow, it was easy to set up, and everything worked perfectly. The AC was very cold and we actually ended up turning it off at night and in the middle of the next day we would kick it back on and within minutes the camper was back to a comfortable cool environment. The cooking items available were just enough for us to whip up burgers, baked beans, and hotdogs. If anyone’s looking for a simple easy and comfortable camper to rent look no further. Tristan and Shawna are easy to communicate with and were very prompt to respond and to reach out to see how our trip was

Let me just say that we've learned our lesson. Our Labor Day weekend didn't go as planned. Everything went fine the first night and on the second day the we lost electricity due to the breaker shutting off on the camper. It was 105 outside and we couldn't stay in our camper the next two days. We could run one ac, but then we couldn't plug in fans or plug anything in without it blowing. Talked to the host many times, but we were 5 hours away and they couldn't send electrician. Besides that, we couldn't run the refrigerator on propane as we were traveling because the pilot would blow out, so we had to take large ice chest and fill it with ice on the way down and back, which was inconvenient. Also we couldn't put anything in the freezer because it smells like someone had left fish in it for a week. The smell would make you nauseated when you opened it. We couldn't run the refrigerator on propane even when camping because it wouldn't light. To top it off the microwave didn't work and that was another inconvenience. Our bill was over $500 and all they reimbursed us was $65. We had a motorhome for 10 years and sold it this year, that's why we had to rent. We know how things are supposed to operate and we know our way around campers, this was not due to us not knowing how to operate these things. Our family was there and graciously let us use their sofa bed. Like I said we learned our lesson.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience you went through. Once again, a completed walk-through of the entire camper was done after the camper was returned and both A/C systems worked perfectly fine, all outlets worked, the refrigerator propane and electrical worked, both propane tanks were filled, 2 stove burners worked, and the electrical surge protector showed no errors. As mentioned before, please reach out to the campsite and have them check their electrical pole for issues/electrical errors. We are very sorry that this happened on your trip. After reaching out to outdoorsy staff and discussing solutions, we agreed on a $65 refund for a non-functioning microwave. The microwave has now been replaced with a 1.1 Cu ft 1000 Watt, Sensor Microwave Oven designed by Drew Barrymore. As an extra precaution for future guests, we took the camper to 2 different campsites and had no issues for both stays.
