Hi Outdoorsy Family, We are happy to share our love for the outdoors and a piece of “Van Life” with you. We are Santa Cruz natives who both grew up camping and exploring the outdoors, and because of that it’s one of our biggest passions. Professionally, we have an ER Nurse and a Googler. With the remote flexibility from both of our jobs, we purchased ‘Steele Van’ to enable us to get outdoors even more often than we did without her. Our van is equipped for full time and off grid living. It is set up for full electric usage, from the water heater to our induction cooktop. Everything is electric, efficient, to the point, and of course very easy to use!

I rented this van for a week and went to the Sierra foothills to hike and enjoy the full reservoirs, flowers, and green landscapes. Cameron & Kristen were kind and friendly hosts and really easy to work with. When I picked up the van they explained everything and gave me good tips, and when I returned they were again super friendly. The van was great - everything was true to the description and photos on the Outdoorsy website. The bed was excellent -- ultra comfortable including the bed linens and blankets. I loved having the hot water for both the sink and the shower. Once you heat up a tank of hot water, it stays warm for >24 hours -- really well insulated. It was easy to prepare meals with the layout of the van - having the main counter on the drivers side plus the small counter on the passenger side was very nice. Van drove very well - plenty of power to climb hills. If you live in the Silicon Valley area and can't find a van to your liking close to home, it is well worth heading to the coast to rent this van!

This van is a beast in terms of power. The plug in coffee maker and huge hot water tank are both a game changer! We camped entirely off grid in Yosemite for 3+ days while cooking, charging our ebikes, phones, cameras, and took multiple hot showers. Would highly recommend! Cameron and Kristen are very informative and great hosts as well. Will definitely be renting from them again!! Thanks guys!

AMAZING vehicle! We boondocked for days - and we had all of the comforts we needed, power, refrigerator, water, lights and a super comfy bed. Camron and Kristen were incredible RV "hosts" and when I picked up the sprinter they gave me a full tour - explained all of the features and sent us on our way - making sure we knew how to get in touch with questions, etc. I am already planning our next adventure! Highly recommend this van for your next offgrid adventure.

Trip was amazing. Cameron and Kristen were very responsive to any questions we had and gave us a great rundown before we started our adventure. Will definitely rent again when we come back to the area!
