About Nick Hurn
Hello fellow traveler! Lindsey and I (Nick) are glad you found our van. We love traveling to new and exciting places by foot, air, and now, van! We hope you'll love the flexibility and freedom our Sprinter provides for your next adventure. I am a Firefighter Paramedic who loves to get outdoors as often as possible in my time off. Lindsey works in real estate and together we have a Golden Retriever, Penny. While we have traveled abroad to faraway countries and explored many of our great states, our favorite activity is backpacking in some of California's biggest mountain ranges. "The Great White" van has been an awesome way for us to see more of California's scenic and remote locations. We look forward to sharing our van and stories with you soon. -Nick

Great experience and really nice set up. Lots of nice touches, very comfy bed and lots of space inside. Nick was super easy going and flexible on all counts!

Had a great trip in Nicks van up the coast of California and Oregon. As someone who is tall the bed was a highlight for me as it’s longer than most vans. Other highlights were the lighting, skylights, and cooking setup. Would love to rent again!

The Great White did not disappoint!! Nick and Lindsey were amazing hosts, there if we needed anything. The vehicle was very clean, ran beautifully, and got us where we were going. The instructional videos helped us a ton although we maybe needed to only revisit a few. On board Wifi was a plus. I’d definitely recommend these folks and this vehicle as a luxurious way to go. Thanks for everything!

Wonderful experience cruising through Andersen Valley, up north to King Range/Lost Coast for spectacular hiking! Incredibly comfortable in all respects. Great attention to detail, so thoughtfully stocked. Bed is absolutely 5 stars - such a luxury when camping! Excellent storage, counter space, stove & fridge for real cooking. Comfy camp chairs, excellent lighting & ventilation options, great system for total blackout overnight. Very capable driving power for steep grades, quiet engine, easy to maneuver. Loved the ease of wifi & virtually endless power source for charging our gadgets.
Nick was an excellent communicator and Lindsey was charming, warm & helpful getting us on the road and welcoming us back. They did an incredible job building this van out, both functionally & aesthetically. We look forward to re-booking again in the future!

Perfect in every way. Nick did not miss a detail in making his van feel deluxe. Stocked with everything you need, just pack your clothes and food. I will definitely rent again and again!

The Van is everything in the photos and more. It is cozy. The WiFi worked great out at Doran Beach. The stove warmed up the tomato soup fast.
We took the scrabble game and the bourbon inside when it got too damp out. The lighting was placed in good locations. Super toasty and warm; the bedding is 5 stars.
The host is awesome; the videos he made for everything is so smart; for the toilet; the lights; the stove, etc. so very helpful. The sound speaker was a nice find. He is very available for questions; I texted him several times before and during the trip
And he has the videos on an iPad in the van!
I will definitely rent this sweet camper ride again.

One of our best trips ever was made possible by Nick and his perfect van. We covered 600 miles throughout far north California comfortably and guided by Nick’s expert knowledge of the region. The interior of the van is set up great, lights where you need them, easy to use stove and fridge and toilet. Great bedding. The van drove great, handled well on all the twists and turns on Highway 1. Drop off/pick up was smooth. Would rent Nick’s van again is a second.

Our trip was beyond perfect in every way. The Great White was like a luxury home away from home and everything went off without a hitch. Nick's Sprinter was immaculate, well maintained, drove beautifully and was stocked with everything you need to have the trip of a lifetime. Our communication with Nick was perfect and he was always prompt in answering any question we had. Nick provided excellent educative videos on how to operate everything, awesome! The bed had quality linens and was so comfortable. Nick even made a special accommodation for our dog Astro for a fee an he was a perfect boy. We can’t even describe how wonderful this trip was. Truly a trip of a lifetime. Nick handled everything and was extremely helpful before and during our trip. The van is absolutely perfect in every way. You will have everything you need to be comfortable. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and high quality linens. We cooked very good dinners and had everything we needed. Definitely get the fire pit and the propane stove. The van is easy to drive and comfortable on the long road trip. We seriously had no issues. The shower was hot and easy to use. The toilet was nice to have as we were completely off the grid. Highly recommend this type of trip for anyone that is willing to adventure outside of the normal.

We had such an amazing time during our trip in the great white! Nick communicated well before and during the trip with any questions. The diesel heater that ran off the fuel tank was a fantastic addition. Having hot water, WiFi and a TV made it feel like we weren’t even camping. We have already recommended them to our friends who were looking for a similar rental! Thank you Nick and Stephanie!

Nick was incredibly accommodating and communicated with me every step of the booking. When I walked into the Van I was blown away with it's size and beauty.Every little detail was thought through to make the experience as comfortable as possible, and as a result, it's the best experience I've ever had in a Sprinter, and one of the best road trips I've ever taken. I'd recommend this Van to everyone, and I'll definitely rent it again.

Honestly when I camp I like to go off the grid, turn off the phone and be unreachable. But since I needed to be working on this trip, the van was a VERY comfortable change of pace.
