The RV was not maintained mechanically and we unfortunately got more than half way to our destination before discovery. The heater stopped working in the night in 24 degrees . Alarms going off after speaking to the owner I was told it might be a gas leak and we had to turn the gas off. Then the generator would not turn on so what went from camping to having to find RV sites. The sink blew out we had to duct tape it every time we used it. The doors tension pin fell out of the cabin door handle to get in the RV so we had to crawl over the front passenger seat to get in and out. When we went to use the portable bbq because we had no gas do to the leak the bbq was filthy, so after cleaning I went to attach the propane canister it comes with and it was empty. It was dirty, VERY WORN interior, shower was full of hair and dirty. Extremely hard to drive noisy and loud. I’ve never left a review but this was a horrible experience and clearly no one maintained the RV which is scary

The bad:
The camper was not properly cleaned and prepped before I took it (fridge needed to be cleaned before I put food in it, sheets were not washed, cupboards not stocked or organized (very little utensils, no cutting knives, only a couple of coffee cups), and the black and grey tanks were not emptied leading to toilet flooding on last day). This good side of this is that it is all very fixable and just needs to be addressed which I did with the owner.

This unit was the perfect size for our 2 week getaway. Covered most of the lower half of Oregon from Crater Lake to Newport and South into CA to see the Redwoods. Easy to drive and well equipped. Mason was a pleasure to work with.

So happy with our experience! Mason was so helpful with our planning process and his response time was incredible. He had recommendations for our trip that made for awesome memories and was someone we would love to rent from again! It was the perfect way to go see the Oregon coast and Californias Redwoods with our family.

We are so grateful to have used Mason's RV for our camping trip to the redwoods. The weather was working against us and we stayed nice and dry while using the RV. We did not have access to water or electrical hookups at our campsite, as such, the RV's generator needed to be jumped several times to keep the power and heat going. While troubleshooting the generator issues, Mason was extremely responsive and helpful.

The RV worked great, and had everything that we needed for the week. Mason was incredibly accommodating, super easy to work with, and kind. Super great value!

5 stars for Mason as a host...he was very friendly, responsive, and his communication was excellent. We really appreciated being able to pickup and return right at the airport. The RV itself rates more like 4 stars...well equipped and drives fine but has slightly more cosmetic and prior use wear than we expected. I think it is priced accordingly tho (much lower than most) and we did not need it to look brand new...so I think overall it is a fair deal. I really appreciated the fresh set of tires and the 150 miles per day (better than most). I would recommend this to a friend.

Owner was super responsive. We had an amazing time in this well-stocked rv. Had everything we needed and then some. We made memories that will last forever and will be renting from Mason again.
