About Liza

We are an adventure vehicle and camping gear rental company, ready to share our view from the top. During the pandemic, we took a look at how we could adapt to everything around us changing. We found ourselves Out to discover new places and pastimes. We welcomed our first roof top tent to our adventure vehicle fleet this year, and dialed in our gear checklist: a lot of practical and a little glamp. Now it’s time for us to share our style and smarts with you so you can spend more time around a campfire doing what you love. Are you ready to get Out?

Everything was wonderful and we had a great Alaskan adventure in Forget-Me-Not. The only thing that could have been improved upon was the mattress needed a little extra padding.
Liza went out of her way to make our rental very easy- delivering to our family's home, meeting us at the airport for drop-off , well-equipped camping vehicle, even a 2023 copy of Milepost in the glovebox! We would definitely rent from Liza again. Thanks so much for a great rental experience!

We had a great time with the Borealis Bungalow. The truck drove great, and the tent was a breeze to set up and very comfortable. One of the best rental experiences we have had. Liza was a great host and super helpful!

This setup is THE way to visit Alaska! The truck is awesome and basically brand new, the tent is incredibly easy to set up and very comfortable, and Liza and Ruby have provided all the gear you could need. You gotta have a car to see Alaska, and this is a way better (and more affordable) option than renting an RV or renting a car + a bunch of AirBnbs. Plus, Liza and Ruby had tons of great recommendations for restaurants and hikes. They couldn't have been more kind and accommodating! 6 Stars

The pop-up tent is such a great way to explore Alaska!! We spent 7 days traveling Kenai peninsula and up through Talkeetna. The truck and setup makes it easy to park in designated camp grounds, or off the path along rivers, forests, and places where a traditional RV couldn't go.The inside of the tent is very comfortable, lots of cushion and memory foam, and the rain fly works excellent to keep out the wind and rain. We went in the shoulder season so we had more rain and cold, but the tent was cozy and help up excellently.
The cooking, kitchen, and miscellaneous gear was great, Liza has built this kit to ensured we had everything we'd need. The truck and all the equipment is kept in top condition, was super clean, and much of it felt brand new.
Liza and Ruby are excellent, they gave us so many recommendations and we very fast to respond to qurstions we were asking them while on our trip. Both pick up and drop off were smooth.

We absolutely loved Out Yonder Camping and the truck we had. Can’t say enough good things. It was very clean and they provided several supplies that made our camping trips complete. They were so kind as well! As we entered the truck, they had the sweetest letter congratulating us on our marriage. We are so glad we went with Out Yonder Camping as it helped make our honeymoon so amazing! Thank you again for a great experience!
