Hello, fellow travelers! Thank you for checking us out. My girlfriend, Shauna, and I designed and converted our camper van, Ruth, that we have been living in the last year. We are both flight instructors who took some time off work to travel the west coast. We have been having so much fun traveling from Florida to the west coast, but now it's time for us to share our love, Ruthie, with others. We have a 15 lb Maltese/terrier rescue, Kylo, who has been along for the ride with us. We even custom made him a middle console to sit on while we're driving. So I'm sure your fellow fur companion will enjoy their stay. We are very easy going people and love to have a good time outdoors enjoying the beautiful sights. Living in this van has been a literal dream come true for us and such an amazing adventure.

I got into contact with Sarah after another listing canceled day of. Sarah was very responsive and even brought Coco to the airport to pick us up. Coco is a beautiful van with so much to offer. We instantly fell in love with her and had so much fun driving her across New Mexico. Couldn't have asked for a better host or van! 10/10 will rent again.

Sarah is really nice , flexible and helpful.
But Ruthie has had a full life already and the listing photos are old and do not represent what we got . There was no fridge but a cooler … no table by the sink, only 1 burner ,no privacy curtain, no bowls , the blanket was cotton when the night were freezing so we ended up buying blankets bowl tea towels and ice .
We discussed with Sarah why we were not happy and asked her to update listing description and photos .

Van drove well. We were remote for several days without electricity and the Van continued to work as expected such as the refrig and lights etc.
Hosts were very accomodating and flexible. They went out of their way to help us with everything to make sure our trip was successful.

We (2 adults + 3 small children) took a 12-day trip with Coco. It was a fantastic experience. Coco was a sturdy vehicle with enough space (we had a tent with us for storing luggage at night). Sarah was a very friendly host with lots of good tips. Thank you very much!
If I could wish for anything for my next stay with Coco, I would like to have a little more crockery and cutlery.

Amazing experience with Coco. Coco drives easy, parks easy, has great personality, and is warm at night, even in Winter. Two adult males slept comfortably and Coco got us everywhere we wanted in the National Forest and National Parks. This experience changed the way I consider hiking/backpacking. Thanks Sarah, Shauna, and Coco!

We spent 27 days this May exploring the National Parks of Utah. And Ruthie was the best companion we could imagine. What a fabulous little camper she is. At 19 feet long, she's not too big for novice camper van drivers like us, and at 9 feet tall, she's big enough to stand and stretch in. The bed was quite comfy, too. Sarah and Shauna are the best … accommodating, helpful, enthusiastic, easy & fun to work with, and quick to get back to us when we had questions. Never having traveled in a camper before, we spent our first day organizing ourselves … where to store pots, where to put our clothes, how does this water system work, the coffee maker, the stove, and where to put stuff we don’t need. Then, just perfect! Ruthie ran like a charm, even on some rugged roads, and we relished the ease and freedom she gave us. Also, the pick up and drop off at the airport was very easy. We can't say enough good things about Ruthie and her owners, Sarah and Shauna. Unless we buy a camper of our own, we may well be back with Ruthie again next year.

We had a great trip in Coco the van traveling around northern New Mexico and experiencing the land of enchantment-- gorgeous hikes, hot springs, vistas, etc. Sarah was an excellent host, easy to communicate with, quick to respond, super friendly, and thoughtful. We had an issue with the van microwave and fridge not working at the end of our trip but Sarah gave us a discount, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

We had an absolute blast with Ruthie!! This was my first van life experience and could not have asked for a better one. My best friend and I were celebrating ten years of friendship, sarah and shauna made it so special for us with some balloons to decorate the van and a few treats! Of course made our way to the balloon fiesta which was beautiful. Would absolutely book Ruthie again!
