About Walter's RV rentals
Hey there Alex & Genesis and we are the Happy Campers!!!! Our little camper is small and versatile which allows us to explore without many restrictions. U turns, easy! Drive thru easy! Gas stations easy!! The drivability of this camper makes the most novice look like a pro. Seriously it's so stress free and easy to drive you will forget your towing a tiny home on wheels. We have been to the top of the Rockies and to the bottom of the Badlands. Every trip greater than the last and always every destination unknown! I'm excited to pass on the adventures so please wait no more and make it happen!!!

We’d been planning our trip from Houston to Virginia Beach for two years and booked the RV two months before leaving.
1. The night before our trip, after we picked up the RV, I texted the owner looking for the door key. He refused to give it to us. After requesting he give us the key or give us a refund with no response, I made a couple calls to Outdoorsy who reached him and he said we could pick up the key in the morning.
2. We show up to get the key and he refuses again and said he was going to cancel our trip the minute we're ready to leave because he doesn’t want us to give him a bad review and ruin his business. After promising we just want to go on this trip and won’t leave a bad review, he gave us keys he knew wouldn’t work and
3. Tells us to find and pay for a locksmith if we want a key. Because we don't want to miss out on our vacation, we get on the road
4. 5 hours down the road the RV falls apart. The passenger side U bolts break because they’re so rusted and we nearly wreck when the axel swerved and popped the tire on the highway.
5. We get stranded for 5 hours in a gas station parking lot waiting for roadside to show up only to find out at 10pm they couldn’t show up til the next day and even if they did, they weren’t sure they could get the RV fixed right away. Not only that, the drivers side U bolts were completely rusted as well and we didn’t want to chance towing it again and it breaking down again further endangering our lives and ruining our trip more.
6. So a hotel stay and $78 later, we told roadside we were going to continue on our trip without the RV because the owner neglected to keep the RV in driving condition.
7. We lost $167 from our RV park cancellation fees
8. On top of all that, the RV was filled with ants all over the place
9. And the tire jack the owner supplied was not the original. It was too small to lift the tire off the ground and was a better fit for a compact car, not an RV
10. The bathroom door wouldn’t open
11. The awning was held together by duct tape
12. The separation curtain was missing several screws and hanging halfway down.
13. The owner said he would give us a full refund the day it fell apart and left us stranded then refused to refund us days later because we felt unsafe to tow his RV any further.
14. Then he charged us the $500 security deposit on top of the $645 rental fee
15. The owner had no remorse about lying about the keys to start off and wasn’t appalled or embarrassed that he rented us a death trap.
16. We had to escalate the issue to Outdoorsy’s Resolution Team to get all our money back because once you pay, your money goes straight to the RV owner, not Outdoorsy.
