About Randy
My parents instilled a love of the outdoors and camping in me as I was growing up. It wasn't long after we were married that we bought our first RV and we have been camping together and as family for over 38 years. It is such a joy to see others enjoy our motor home and enjoy camping as much as we do. We will do all we can to make this a positive experience for you!

This was our first time renting an RV, and Randy and Sharon made it a wonderful experience. They were the perfect hosts. Randy was patient and thorough in his instruction on running the RV, and always on the ready if we had any questions while on the road. The "Cottage" was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, including some home made treats to start us off on our journey. It was cozy, very well organized inside and out, and included all sorts of compartments full of anything and everything you could possibly need. We travelled Vancouver Island, and met with a couple of friends who were so very impressed with our cozy cottage, and the the attention to detail the hosts had in supplying the RV for the best experience possible. This vacation is at the top of our travel experiences start to finish, and we can't wait to do it again. Randy and Sharon, you have got us hooked! There's nothing like feeling at home, no matter where you are. Thank you so very much for your hospitality and generosity, and we are looking forward to renting the "Cottage" again.

Amazing experience!!! Randy and Sharon truly have thought of everything. Starting with incredibly detailed recommendations for trip planning via messenger, a gift basket personalized for our son when we arrived, and a thorough walk through of how to use the vehicle, we were blow away at the detail and care they have put into renting this RV out to guests. All this before we even started on our trip!

Absolutely amazing trip travelling with two young kids (20 months and 6) up and down the east coast of Vancouver island. The Cottage was exactly as described and had literally everything we could ever need for a 2 week camping roadtrip. Plenty of sleeping, food prep, and hanging out space. Thank you Sharon and Randy for being absolutely amazing hosts!!

We absolutely loved our time in The Cottage! We had 10 days and covered about 2400kms. It never missed a beat and was extremely comfortable. It was also surprisingly fuel efficient, as long as you took your time up any long hills. It has all the creature comforts (and more!) Randy and Sharon were perfect hosts. Randy's communication was very prompt, extremely helpful and went above and beyond in terms of suggestions re sites/campgrounds etc. If we ever come back to BC we'd love to spend some more time in The Cottage!

It's been a pleasure to travel on The Cottage with our family of 4. Driving was easy and safe. The Cottage was clean and well equipped. All the essentials and more were included. It's been a pleasure to chat with Randy in preparation and during the trip.

We had a great time travelling up the Sunshine Coast and across Vancouver Island while staying in Randy and Sharon's RV "the cottage". The RV comfortably slept all four of us, and all the thoughtful touches like herbs and spices, a welcome pack, and bathroom and bedroom linen made our trip very comfortable.

What a fantastic home away from home. The Cottage made our road trip of BC and the Rockies even more amazing than we could have hoped for. Very easy to drive, super comfortable and stocked with lots of useful things you’d only find in someone’s loved RV. Randy and Sharon’s homemade goodies were the icing on the cake! Randy’s initial run through (as well as their communication and travelling advice beforehand) was brilliant. We chose to mainly stay on non-serviced campgrounds (BC Provincial Parks and Banff and Jasper National Parks with onsite showers and washrooms), we love this simplicity and the RV was perfect for dry camping. We spent three weeks on the road and would have happily made The Cottage our home for much longer.

The Cottage could not have been more perfectly suited to our family's travel plans, and Randy and Sharon were the most thoughtful, hospitable hosts imaginable! Communication from planning to pickup to return was flawless -- prompt, thoughtful, and courteous -- and all of the little touches that they've put into their home on wheels made our trip easy and comfortable.

Perfect hosts. Randy was always happy to help & provide pre-trip information as well as a very detailed handover, which we needed as newbies at this.
The cottage was a home from home, very well equipped with all that was needed & more. The welcome gift bag was a lovely personal touch & delicious.
We had an amazing trip & many special Mum & Son memories.
Will definitely recommend & will hopefully be back.

We couldn't have asked for better hosts than Randy and Sharon. Their RV was well equipped, clean, spacious and everything we had hoped for. Randy was extraordinarily helpful and explained all of the details meticulously and conducted a very thorough handover. Lots of handy advice and supports too.
We particularly liked the full-service offering (only needing to top-up the fuel). All this and a little welcome pack. Nice touches which were very much appreciated.
Oh... and British Columbia is just BEAUTIFUL!

We had such a great time in The Cottage, couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Randy is a pleasure to deal with, and even went as far as providing us with some delicious homemade yogurt and granola for our trip.
