Welcome to Myakka River RV Resort. Myakka River RV Resort is your home for a great Florida vacation! Our RV Park, located directly on the Myakka River. It features river front and nature preserve sites, full hook-up with 30 and 50-amp service available. Our River Resort is truly "Big Rig Friendly"! All of our sites are full hookups and come complete with patio slabs and picnic tables. Wi-Fi high-speed internet access is available throughout the park, as well as 48-channel Cable TV for a fee.
Campground rules and policies
Check-in Procedure
- Check-in time: 1:00 pm.
- Check out time: 11:00 am.
- A credit card given for deposit guarantee will be used for the balance of stay upon check-in.
- You authorize us to charge any expenses incurred during your stay to that credit card.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.Quiet Time
- 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.Guest Identification
- Valid ID must be presented for all guests over the age of 18.Registration Policy
- Only registered guests are permitted to stay in the park.Conduct
- Disorderly conduct, obscene language, or disturbing the peace of your neighbors will not be tolerated at any hour and is grounds for eviction.Pets
- All pets must be accompanied by their owner, leashed, and under control at all times.
- Pets must be kept quiet after 11:00 pm.
- You must clean up after your pet immediately, even on your own site.
- If you are found not complying with this rule, you will be fined $50.00 for the first violation and will be asked to leave the park if the second violation occurs.
- No excessive barking will be permitted at any time.
- Management reserves the right to refuse any aggressive breed.Children
- A parent/guardian must be with children under the age of 18 at all times and must be responsible for the safety and conduct of children living at or visiting your site.
- No child under the age of 18 may drive a golf cart.Pool Use Policy
- No lifeguard on duty.
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Pool hours are from dawn to dusk.
- No pets or glass inside the pool fencing.
- Please shower before entering the pool.
- No one may adjust the pool temperature.
- No drinks except commercially bottled water are allowed on the wet deck.
- This includes the edge of the pool or any seating area other than the raised deck area.Fires
- All fires must be contained in a fire pit.
- You may purchase or rent a fire pit from the office.
- Do not dump ashes on the ground or in the dumpster.
- Firewood is available for $6 for a small bundle and $10 for a large bundle.
- Please check at the office.
- Red flag warning - if Sarasota County issues a red flag warning, fires will not be permitted until the ban is lifted.Wildlife
- Do not feed alligators.
- If caught, you will be asked to leave the park.
- No swimming except in the pool.
- Please be mindful when walking near the water and along the trails that this is Florida, and where there is water, there are alligators and snakes.
- Do not let your children or pets near the water’s edge.
- By staying here, you, your family, and your guests assume all risks associated with wildlife.Guests
- Each site allows for 2 adults and 2 children.
- Please see the office for additional guests.
- Annual guests are permitted two guests for seven days.
- Please make sure they are registered with the park.
- This is permitted two times per annual calendar.
- All units must be "owner-occupied".
- There is no subletting.Prohibited Items
- Fireworks, firearms, and firecrackers are all prohibited in the park.Rent Payment and Occupancy Policy
- Rent is due on the first day of each month.
- Failure to pay your rent within 3 days of being due will result in late fees equal to $25 on the 4th day and $5 for each day after, for annual guests.
- Failure to pay by the close of business on the 3rd may result in your annual lease being terminated and becoming a month-to-month occupancy.
- Monthly guests will be asked to leave the park if rent is not paid within 3 days of being due.
- There is no subletting permitted.
- You are required to sign the credit card authorization form and must provide a valid credit card to be held on file.Unit and Site Upkeep Policy
- All units must be kept free from mold/mildew.
- Porches and stairs must be maintained structurally and cosmetically.
- The area 3’ from the electric pedestal and 3’ from the roadway must be kept clear of all items.Site Improvement Policy
- All improvements to sites must be approved prior to work beginning.
- Please see the office for the form.
- Any improvement requiring a permit must be obtained from Sarasota County and posted before any work may begin.Parking and Vehicle Policy
- Each site is allowed 2 vehicles.
- Trailers and boats are not permitted on site.
- Storage is available for an additional fee.
- Guests must park in the parking lot near the front office.Site Setup and Decoration Policy
- No clutter, fences, or tents allowed on sites.
- One screen room is permitted.
- Nothing nailed or attached to trees without prior permission.
- This includes hammocks and swings.Utility Disconnection and Towing Policy
- In accordance with Florida statute 513.13, management has the right to disconnect utilities to your site if you owe more than 3 days' rent.
- In addition, management reserves the right to have your unit towed at your expense if rent for your site is more than $300 in arrears.Campground Disclaimer
- Violation of any park rule will result in the termination of the lease for annual guests and immediate termination of the reservation for monthly, weekly, or daily guests.
- No refund will be issued.
