When we booked a trip to Desert Daze music festival, our first thought was to rent an RV. We have been tent campers all our lives and wanted something special for our first music outing in over two years. All we can say is: it was SO worth it! This was our first experience renting on Outdoorsy and we are so glad that we chose Outdoorsy and more importantly, Rita’s awesome rig (“Big EZ”) for this trip. As other reviews have mentioned, Rita is incredible: she is super responsive, kind and easy to work with. But we want to focus this review of the RV itself.For starters, the RV was very clean and you can tell that Rita cares about maintaining it. It was stocked with everything we needed - towels, linens, kitchen supplies (note, you should plan to pack your own pantry staples), outdoor furniture, bathroom necessities and also SO much storage! For the kitchen, Rita thoughtfully included paper plates, and plastic cups and utensils and plastic cups knowing that we would not be allowed to use glass at the campground. She also included coffee and the perfect one-cup espresso/coffee maker. The RV also had everything we needed to keep things tidy (dish soap, hand towels, etc.). For the bedroom, the mattress was really comfortable and easily fit myself and my husband - we slept well and for the full night (an actual dream if you are a camper!). The fridge and stove were key for making breakfast and lunch every day; and while we didn’t use the bbq, it was nice to know we had it. Rita also included chairs, a table and sun shade for the hot days.From a set up and tear down standpoint, Rita carefully walked my husband through everything he needed to know and it was much more simple than we thought! The actual mechanics were clean and well-kept too. There was also a very cool, colorful LED light track under the RV to help us find it each night (it ended up helping the tent campers near us too!). All around, amazing experience and we would absolutely recommend renting this RV and we hope to again for next year’s festival!
