Spencer was great. Showed me everything that I needed for the type of camping I was doing. Great communication and friendly. Definitely going to rent from him again.

Everything worked well and we enjoyed our RV excursion. Blackstone rental was a great add on.

Our experience was extremely disappointing and left my family, and I stranded under unsafe conditions. The camper was scheduled to be delivered at two but was not delivered until approximately five causing us to lose several hours of our reserved camping trip. Several amenities were missing including the coffee maker. The mattress was in extremely poor condition make it an uncomfortable.. The most serious issue occurred when they camp a defect that resulted in a fire. Instead of promising us a camper, he removed the damaged camper and left us with absolutely no accommodations. My family was left outside without shelter a tent, ice, chest mattress, etc. had nowhere to stay no transportation due to my electric car being on the charger. As a result, the host failure to provide a replacement or any emergency assistance, ruined our vacation. We were abandoned basic necessities and forced to rely on the kindness of others to obtain shelter.
Spencer’s answer
Lasondra, we apologize for the late delivery. We got behind schedule that day and take ownership of that. This is also the first time we’ve heard concerns about the coffee maker (it’s stored under the dinette) or the mattress; we’ve had zero complaints about either from any other renter, past or future.

The rv was clean. The black water tank was a little smelly. Bedding was forgotten but Tavon took care of it. Delivery was on time and seamless. Unit was a little worn Would definitely do again

Great experience from start to finish. The van was in excellent condition and suited our needs. Spencer was responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout the trip. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful trip with this Outdoorsy host. He actually owns an actual RV rental business call 916 Rv rentals. This made me feel a lot more comfortable. Individual owners did not respond to me or ghosted me completely. The owner Spencer was very professional and responsive. I booked four months in advance. I added early pick up in late drop off for a small fee which he discounted me for. The day before picking up the RV he communicated that the RV has some issues and that he can upgrade me to another RV, which happened to be newer. I REALLY appreciated the communication because I would really hate to have gone on my trip and things on the RV go wrong. Check in with smooth and we were showed how to use the RV. We have the RV for 11 nights and 12 days. We basically drove about 4000 miles to different national parks on the West Coast and mid west. The children loved it. After this trip, we felt like we were RV pros. The tire center fault came on, but that went away quickly and it seems to be a well-known issue on these RVs. We checked the tire pressure on the tires and they were fine. The jack stand that stabilizes the RV had a little bit of issue but overall we were able to make it work eventually. The black and gray water sensor was a little off because we got the RV. It said it was full or halfway. But it was clearly empty before given to us. This made it a little difficult because we weren’t sure the black or gray water was full on our trip. However, we didn’t really even use the water too much while driving so we weren’t too worried. And when we got to campsites, we dumped the black and grey water so we weren’t too worried. I was worried that the rv was too long to drive at 29 feet, but it wasn’t too bad at all. I felt like driving a van. Returning the RV was simple. We brought paper plates and fork so we didn’t use any of their plates and utensils. we basically cleaned up the whole place with a wipe down and a mopping. It wasn’t too hot where we went so we didn’t have to use the generator much for AC. We turned on the generator for the microwave, but that was only for a couple minutes at a time. We also brought our own propane stove and cooked outside at our campsite so we barely use the propane stove in the RV. This help kept it clean. We also brought our own pots and pans just because we like to use our own things so we didn’t even touch their pots and pans as well. But I like that it was provided. The one thing that was provided that I really appreciate it was trash bags. These came in really handy. There’s also a sponge and dish soap and even hand soap. I brought my own, but I like that they provided theirs for us to use. We brought on that, but I believe if you by a certain number of nights, you can ask for fitting to be included. Talk to the owner directly. Better yet they have a website that you can go on to possibly save even more money. Thank you, Spencer for a wonderful RV rental experience. We are already thinking about where we want to go next and can’t wait to book another RV or van life vehicle.

"Outdoorsy" was problematic. My local host, 916 RV Rentals and Spencer, were great. Spencer was very accommodating and responsive. We arranged a time for an orientation of the RV. When we arrived Spencer let us know that driver verification for my husband was showing that he was not verified by Outdoorsy. Interestingly, the night before and earlier that day, we could see that he and I were both verified drivers.
We checked the app. sure enough, my husband was not listed as verified. Spencer, my husband and I called Outdoorsy together to try to get the verification process fixed. Outdoorsy said that it would take time on their end; okay, fine. We continued checking out the RV taking photos and getting details on operation. After a while, we checked and my husband still was not verified; even worse, now I was no longer verified as a driver either. At this time. we were ready to head off with the RV to begin loading it up. Of course, we could not do that because neither of us were able to drive off at this point.
We called Outdoorsy again, for them to inform us that my driver's license is expired...It's valid through 2030! I went through the entire process to become a verified driver again, in the meantime we were still waiting for my husband to become verified. A full hour and a half later, I was listed as verified, my husband was not. I drove the RV home. We were so work out, that we did not get any loading of the RV done that night. Fortunately, we had not planned to leave the same evening.
My husband was finally verified by noon the next day. We were loaded and on the road by 2 p.m. The Winnebago View 24D was a nice RV, very comfortable bed, lots of space in the refrigerator and freezer, and plenty of space for all the camp items that we wanted to bring. Our dog, Chloe, was quite comfortable on her little bed between the seats as we traveled. I especially appreciated the wardrobe in the bathroom to hang some warm clothes. There is nice space in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom, despite little space on the sink in the bathroom. Nice counter space enabled the two of us to work together in the kitchen. If I were to choose this RV again, I would bring a small step stool to get into the Murphy bed. I am 5'1" and a little round, so it was a little bit of a challenge getting into the bed at night. Once there, I slept really well and enjoyed the fact that we could fold the bed up in the morning with the bedding still on.
