Deserves ZERO stars! NO-SHOW HOST - did NOT show for the check-in. HIad to ask questions about operation via phone on a BAD connnection. VISUALLY OBVIOUS UNSAFE MALFORMATION OF FRONT TIRE - was the first thing we noticed. Host acted like he didn't know anything was wrong, blaming his father. Attempting to salvage vacation, I agreed with host to try to timely get 2 front tires replaced(at his cost), before starting actual rental. RV started LOUD wheel bearing sound & mind-numbinly LOUD tire smacking (as expected) immediately upon exiting host's driveway. It was late on a Saturday. Despite calling & visiting 17+ repair shops we were unable to practically fix host's RV, as many shops were also closed Sundays. Returned RV that same night. HOST LIED to Outdoorsy, claiming we returned RV 4 days later, when we were 500 miles away. Host trying to charge me for gas used trying to fix HIS RV. Host failed to provide a safe, roadworthy RV. Host did NOT do even a cursory inspection/road test. We noticed tire IMMEDIATELY. I have pics & eye witnesses to prove all facts. Our FAMILY vacation RUINED! Tremendous direct & indirect consequential financial damages!!

The host is very responsive and checked in on us to make sure we had what we needed. The RV has definitely been used, and it shows but the appliances appeared to work and the truck itself presented no major issues. There were a couple of hiccups we experienced when we picked up the vehicle, which is why I am not giving the rental experience 5 stars. First, the pickup address that was provided on outdoorsy was 15 minutes away from the actual pickup address, which we did not find out until we were at the wrong address. Second, there was an awful sewage smell from the shower drain that permeated the RV when we started driving it. Turns out that we needed to flush out the p traps and pick up some scent pods from Walmart to clear the smell. We decided not to use the bathroom at all, but the instructions Kyle provided ended up working on the smell. Overall, I think it was a good experience and I would consider renting from Kyle again.

We had an AMAZING weekend! Five adults slept comfortably. Super clean, stocked with all of the comforts of home, and surprisingly easy to drive. Kyle was so accommodating, it made the experience a breeze! As a first time RV traveler, I can’t say enough positive things about the experience.
