Wilson is a great van to have lead the way. He is sooo patient and has to be for he has none of what we are used to in our vehicles!! Our grandchildren were astounded at seeing roll down windows for the first time. He drives great, is EASY to drive, was fun to have camping, was super accommodating, always a gentleman, very willing to have his doors open or closed, carries a ample supply of drinking water, has a battery to run everything and likes to charge using the sun! But that’s where he wants patience for solar panels do take a while to refill the battery. But he was willing to do it and helped the battery recharge from 0 to 14% that day in the sun! There’s a kind of fun hanging with a van like Wilson! Besides that we had a glorious vacation. Beyond being fun, Wilson
kept us safe — a place out of the sun and a place to sleep at night. You cannot fail with Wilson!!

My rating is really a 4.5/5, and I had a fantastic trip. Wilson is a beast! Jake was responsive to questions and easy to deal with, and he was flexible about pickup/return times to accommodate my flight times. The van was clean and in good repair, and the bed was super comfy. The videos and the printed manual made it easy to manage the battery system. Out of 7 nights, I only had access to shore power on the second night and I never ran out of juice. It was very convenient to have the fridge, microwave, and coffee maker so I could stay basically self-contained, which was important because a lot of things weren't open for the season yet in the national parks I visited. The only deduction in my rating is the result of a previous review; that person complained about too much random stuff in the van, so it was all removed and things that were advertised as amenities (such as coffee cups, Solo cups, etc) were not there. I had to purchase them, which was really just a minor inconvenience but if I had known ahead of time I would have brought them from home. So just verify ahead of time to make sure that things you will need are included. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely take Wilson on another trip!

Experience with host: Excellent. Jake was very easy to contact and typically responded to any messages within minutes. We had an issue with one of the inverter chargers and he quickly helped me troubleshoot the issue and had it solved within a few minutes. Drop off and pick-up was super easy and Jake was very accommodating and flexible with pickup/drop off times . The video Jake created that gives you a rundown of the van and its features was super helpful.Experience with rental: Okay. The van ran great. No mechanical issues and overall it served our purposes. That said, the van is best suited to smaller/shorter people. I'm 5'11" and was unable to fit in the bed unless I slept diagonally and even then I barely fit. This was not ideal because it meant my daughter had to sleep on the floor of the van and required us to bring extra bedding/mattresses - something we hoped to avoid by renting a van rather than tent camping. If I had known the bed was small ahead of time, I would not have rented the van. The van was also a bit dirty when we picked it up and it seemed like it hadn't had a thorough cleaning between users. The cabinets were full of all kinds of random stuff left behind by other users - expired bear spray, cold medication, dirty forks, several containers of old coffee, an empty box of tin foil, some straw fire starters that had spilled all over the cabinets, and a whole bunch of other odds and ends. I ended up wiping down and vacuuming the van before our trip and stored all the random stuff at my house so we could actually put food and other supplies in the cabinets. We had some issues with charging the inverter while driving. The fuses in the charger kept blowing out. Jake was super responsive and helpful with getting this fixed, but it was really stressful to be out in the desert and have no way to charge the inverter (the solar charger was not an option due to clouds). In the end, the van provided many conveniences we would not have had car camping. We loved the appliances and appreciated that we had a microwave and toaster and could turn the lights on at night. The towels, chairs, and table Jake provided were very much appreciated. There was plenty of storage space under the bed.

We took Wilson to Bear Lake and had such a great time! Having a working fridge and microwave for the weekend was such a bonus and everyone on our trip was envious of our cool setup. The bed was also super comfortable and it was nice being off the ground at a rocky campsite.
Jake was an awesome host and was great with any and all questions we had. I was a little worried that Wilson's set up would be complicated, but the walk-through and manual that Jake gave us was super helpful.
We love Wilson and would definitely take him camping again!

I really enjoyed my trip in “Wilson“ Jake was an amazing host and went out of his way to make sure that I understood how to use. The van was included with the van.
I thought I had lost my keys when I got to my destination, and Jake went out of his way to look for those keys and help me navigate the situation. He coordinated with my mother to be sure that I had a spare key when I got back from my trip. Hats off to Jake the Van Man!

This was a trip of a lifetime! Jake was an absolute amazing host so replied quickly, was super nice, and helpful with anything we needed! The van was perfect for 2 people, it had everything we needed and more. Van was super clean, ran and drove great, bed was comfortable and all appliances worked perfectly as well. I highly highly highly recommend and will definitely be booking again on our next trip to Utah! Thank you so much for everything!

Great van trip. The battery life was excellent for the fridge, keeping our food cool the entire trip to the national parks. It das very nice to have hot food cooked in the van, with the solar extending battery life. A perfect first van trip.

The campervan is great! Jake was so helpful with us, our campervan was canceled last minute and he was there to help us, we didnt have any problem and enjoyed every corner of the camper! Is comfortable, easy to drive! We were so happy on our trip to yellowstone!

Jake is marvellous, extremely helpful, communication was fast, exactly and very friendly. Awesome van, very comfy. Provided us a wonderful home for our two week trip to Yellowstone and Tetons. There was no hookup, so we were running on battery only. The solar power was great for coffee, toast and loading our electric devices.

It was the perfect size for my wife and I plus our Aussie Shepherd Bowie. It did very well driving fire roads back into the mountains to Browne Lake. It made for an outstanding weekend adventure.
